Position Assistant Engineer (civil inspector)

Technical / Business
• Wide ranging experience in the inspection of the quality of works and workmanship, as constructed, for products and structures that are found in civil & Architectural engineering.
• Checking all contractor activities for all Concreting & Finishing for substructure/superstructure.
• Provision of support to the Resident Engineer in all plots.
• Delivery of final product related to plots.
• Experience in the production and maintenance of clear records and logs of labor, plant and materials.
• Implement safety precautions.

Principal
Accountabilities
• To report to the Resident Engineer.
• Provision of support to the Project Director in the delivery of data and information to the Client.
• Provide appropriate and clear communications with the Contractor relating to the quality and workmanship of site activities to ensure the successful completion of the Project to the budget and schedule as both may be defined during the life of the Project.
• Subject to the prior approval of the Resident Engineer, provide instruction to the Contractor.
• Liaise with 3rd Parties, as may be required, to ensure the successful completion of the Contract.
• Implementation of AEC’s safety policies and to uphold the safety of the public and all site personnel on the site.
• Compliance with the Supervision Project Quality Plan.
• Assisting in any quality audits of the project and ensuring timely closure of all identified corrective actions.
• Ensuring that Project Specific Procedures are implemented and followed as required.
• Ensure that access is available to and that they are familiar with the requirements of the Employers Contract.

The project consists of two accommodation buildings for local labors, 60 villas for bachelor accommodations, health club, sauna rooms, swimming pool, jocose, sports fields, maintenance building, restaurant, sub-stations, underground water tanks, firefighting system, sewerage network, storm water network, portable water network, irrigation system, parking’s, asphalt roads, interlock walk ways, landscape, sign boards, road marking, METV system, boundary wall and gates. The total built area is 30, 527M2 (Budjet-98 millions).
•Bin Hamooda car Parking.
The elevated car parking consists of basement floor, four floors and roof. Including Piling works, precast columns and beams, hollow core slabs and concrete topping above hollow core slabs, cast in site columns, beams, slabs, ramps, left, boundary wall, water tanks, M.E.P works, water proofing system, fire fighting system, fire alarm system, pump room, offices, restaurant, guard house, interlock tiles, kerb-stone, parapet handrail and gates.

•Alwifaq Tower at Al Reem island (Budget-200Million Dhs)
The tower consists of 3basements, 3 podiums and 33floors apartment. Including swimming pool, health club, water tanks at basement3, sub-station, all finishing works, block works, plastering works, ceiling spray plaster, false ceiling, walls & floor tiles, porcelain, marble works, garbage chute, aluminum cladding, unitized panels, window cleaning system, landscape.

•Civil and infrastructure work of Po units and installations.
The subcontract scope work consists of furnishing all equipments, materials and labour, and performing all preparatory works and operations required for the execution of civil works of PO units and installations at BOROUGE 3 project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi.
The project consists of Infrastructure work- sewerage network, storm water network, street lighting system, firefighting system, CCTV system & 57 buildings substations, palletizing substations, common substations, purification substations, extrusion buildings, powder silos, powder bins (including haulage system), additives storage building, catalyst storage building, peroxide building, blender silos, palletizing and wrapping buildings, compressor areas, package raw material warehouse, operator shelter& satellite workshop, Xlpe container lining building, gas phase reactors, lope reactors and purge bin structure.
Issuance of inspection requests to consultant and attending inspection.
Conduct Joint inspection with the higher authority.
Follow up works quality with work progressing versus time schedule to keep ahead with.
Ensure the required submittals and notifications are issued to the consultant for approval within the specified time frame.
Making sure that approved works methodology been implemented on site.
Inspection of structural and finishing works for various trades and sub-contractors.
Conducts all testing necessary within the site through the presence of engineer’s representative.
Closing all site instructions and non conformance reports (NCR) issued by the engineers through immediate follow up with the construction group.
Issuance of internal site instructions and non conformance reports (NCR) to the construction group for any deviated work from specifications.
Submitting weekly and monthly reports for company top management evaluating works quality and progress.
Attending progress meeting along with project manager, owner and consultant to discuss further weekly target plane.
Responsible for handing over the project to the client and clearing off the snagging and the De-snagging of the consultant comments.
