1. Responsible of short and medium term financial planning that includes development of annual budget, monthly and quaterly forcasts.
2. Prepration of monthly CFO pack for exec. Board meeting and also presenting the same in the absence of VP Finance
3. Aligning short/medium term financial plan with long term strategic plan/goals
4. Perparing indepth financial analysis to evaluate financial performance and to identify areas of concerns along with proposed actions

4. Development of long term financial plan for functions
5. Presenting financial performance of functions to CFO in Houston
6. Preparing adhoc analysis for management specially internal restructing of functions
• Preparation of annual, half yearly, quarterly and monthly accounts in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/IAS)
• Supervision of compliance with internal controls and their review
• Ensuring completeness, accuracy and timely recording of transactions in GL
• Tax returns, statements and all other tax related matters
• Supervision of payments to suppliers (Payment Section)
• Supervision of receivables (Receivable Section)
• Supervision of Payroll function
• Accounting and reporting of KSB Staff Provident Fund and KSB Staff Gratuity Fund
• Reporting to KSB Germany for Consolidation of Accounts
• Supervision & review of accounting function at factory and sales offices in different cities.
• Preparation of reports, agenda and financial analysis for Board and Top Management
• Conducting forensic investigations in accordance with the guidelines of KSB Germany
• Review of Chart of Accounts including update
• Opening new account codes in system as and when required
• Designing MIS reports to meet new & changing information needs of various departments
• Preparation of Annual Budget and review on quarterly basis
• Financial analysis of Operational Cost (Opex) comparing with budget & prior period actual
• Collection & summarization of Operating Cost for Quarterly, Half yearly & Annual Accounts
• Preparing reports for Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)
• Involved in implementation of Oracle Financial and gained extensive hands on experience of an ERP system.
• Designing and issuance of MIS reports on monthly basis for cost control to all departments
