Main Responsibilities for the above listed Jobs
• Apply safety measures on all activities I supervise.
• Good knowledge of Computerized Materials Management Systems (CMMS) such as: SAP, PM sys, Polyment, JD EDWARDS, ORACLE and Maximo
• Develop and maintain an Inventory Management System and oversee the implementation of the System via detailed procedures that ensure optimum holding of stock of material at the new above cement plants (MBCC & BCC)
• Define the data required for the Computerized Material Management System and maintain the data for unique identification and informative classification. (MBCC & BCC)
• Define the levels of stock based on Vendor recommendation and Company experience.
• Work with procurement to ensure stock replenishment is done on time.
• Analyze the material management and adjust the safety level, re-order level, maximum level and economic re-order level.
• Carryout the ABC analysis and give recommendation accordingly.
• Review PR's raised by maintenance departments to check availability in stock.
• Review the Stock Creation, Amendments & Deletion (SCAD's) raised by maintenance departments to make the necessary entries into the materials management system.
• Leads a team for internal auditing of the stock holdings with the respect of safety and healthy regulations. (MBCC, HPCC and CiBA)
• Ensures that preservation procedures for Issuance spares are in place and followed up.
• Check slow moving items and coordinates with end users for possible obsolesce or surplus
• Review the correct utilization of the materials management system and assists end users where necessary.
• Works closely with warehouse personnel to optimize the warehousing functions.
• Capable of interpreting project and vendor documents, completing material inspection and updating documentation.
• Study and propose Catalogue modifications when required for stock optimizations and improvements.
• Experience with the rule, regulations and storage of special products, transportation, freight forwarding and material delivery control.
• In charge of delivery of the Purchase Requisitions, PO reception, Stock Issues and stock movements with respect of rules related to Work orders, GL accounts, invoices etc.
• In charge of additional stock proposals, Stock Coverage analysis, catalogue update proposal for stock optimization, standardization in order to reduce storage cost
• Provides support and advise the specification for new material to be stocked
• Regular contact with personnel operations department to define material to be stocked.
• Interacts daily with other departments in plant availability, inspection personnel, contractors and vendors.
