by developing Internship Objective Plan (IOP) for each Intern and monitoring their progress during
their Internship Program.
National Graduates Development Program Support:
▪ Provided quarterly Counseling sessions to a group of National graduates together with monitoring of their
development progress during their Individual Development Plan (IDP).
▪ Designed and delivered Bite-size training sessions for national graduates.
▪ Coordinated and arranged logistics (with the support of PR Department) for the annual Qatarization events
like CEO Forum and Qatarization Forum for National Graduates and Trainees
▪ Led a project to redesign the Individual Development Plan (IDP) system for National graduates and Coaches
as a part of continuous improvement of L&D systems. As a part of this project, I prepared the Conceptual
Design document of the enhanced system by collecting all requirements from users of the current system and
coordinated with IT on the design and development of the system. Also I conducted the User Acceptance
Testing (UAT) of the enhanced system which was successfully launched in May 2015.
▪ Designed and delivered training sessions on the enhanced IDP System to National graduates and Coaches in
June 2015.
L&D Department Systems’ support:
▪ Designed and developed a customer service desk system for customers of Qatarization & National
Development Division - Qatarization Service Desk (QSD). I developed this system using SharePoint forms and
workflows. Following the successful launch of the QSD, I then upgraded the system as L&D Service Desk. This
system was developed in coordination with IT and was successfully launched on June 2014 covering all sections
of L&D Department. As a systems Administrator of the L&D Service Desk, I regularly monitor the system to
ensure all requests are attended and resolved by relevant division focal points and closed within the time-
frame.
▪ Led a project to develop Online Internship and Scholarship Application form on the Qatargas Website with a
back end application for administration of the Internship and Scholarship forms received. This project was
developed in coordination with IT Department. In designing and developing the system I gathered all the
requirements from my division colleagues who handle Internships and Scholarships and discussed the
requirements with IT for design of the application forms and tested the application before launch.
▪ Coordinated with IT Department in developing a National Trainees Management System. As a project
coordinator, I gathered all the requirements from my Division Colleagues from Technical Trainees Team and
ensured all key requirements and delivery timelines were compiled in a Project Charter Document. I organized
regular meetings with IT Department to discuss detailed requirements and ensured the system was developed
and tested as per our requirements.
▪ Designed and developed Qatarization Intranet Portal Site using SharePoint to update all relevant information
about Qatarization Division’s Functions, Processes, Policies and procedures, FAQ’s etc. Also, in 2014 I
coordinated with the e-learning coordinator to design and develop the L&D Portal Site.

implementation and user acceptance testing

▪ Participated in the assessment process of achieving Gold Standard IiP (Investors in People) Accreditation for
Learning & Development Department, Qatargas in 2013
▪ Compiling and reporting Qatarization & National Development division’s updates and achievements in the
Qatargas Sustainability Questionnaire as a part of L&D Department contributions.
▪ Member of Learning Olympics Committee team handling the marketing of Learning Olympics Event and as
Qatarization & National Division Focal Point member. The Learning Olympics event was launched in Qatargas
in 2013 to provide support to Qatargas employees on various L&D department initiatives and learning services
available to Qatargas staff. I was able to successfully market the Learning Olympics event as L&D Department
achieved the target of 400+ employees attending the event. I was recognized by my department towards my
contribution with a letter of Appreciation as the event was a big success in Qatargas.
▪ Supported training & education division by facilitating a Supervising the Qatargas Way (SQW) Café style event
for Middle Management Supervisors.
Company-wise initiatives:
▪ Appointed as a Department Champion to promote the Qatargas 2013 Employee Opinion Survey and encourage
participation among 3 Departments in the Administration Group. I put up promotional materials about the
survey in the departments, and briefed department managers about the survey and continuously gave updates
on the % completion of the survey within their department. I also provided support to employees from these
departments on any queries related to the Employee Opinion Survey. I was recognized by HR Manager towards
my contribution.
Safety initiatives:
▪ Appointed as Chief Floor Warden for L&D Department and conducted monthly safety checks in the Qatargas
Head office with fellow L&D Colleagues as a part of safety awareness among colleagues. Also submission of

SAP Back End to enter training data, assisting employees to register via Training & Event Management System,
coordinating with training vendors for course registrations, preparation of necessary documents for training
per diems and tickets
▪ Designing and regularly updating the QG Training Calendar on the Intranet with all Inhouse course information,
Mandatory Safety courses, English Language courses, e-learning courses, with hyperlinks to all course
outlines.
▪ Maintaining/updating the SAP Training database with training attendance for all external and In-house courses
utilizing SAP Training & Events Management System (Back End).
▪ Processing of training course Invoices and liaising with finance on the Remittance Advice status to notify the
