Headed the legal affairs department for the United Technologies Corporation JVs in
Saudi Arabia being Arabian Air-Conditioning, Carrier Saudi Service Company, and Otis
Elevators, with a P&L of 800M$. The business included building management systems,
sale and installation of elevators, escalators, fire and security products, and HVAC
systems.

Duties and responsibilities included handling all day-to-day legal affairs of the company,
including corporate and commercial aspects, setting and implementing internal policies
and proper corporate governance, ensuring compliance with international and local laws,
specifically Anti-Trust and Foreign Corruption Practice Act, handling litigation, and
conducting internal investigations, and ensuring proper compliance with UTC’s Code of
Ethics
Managed the firm’s office in Jeddah and worked closely with the offices in Riyadh, Dubai,
and Beirut.
In addition to reviewing commercial contracts, I advised clients on multi-million dollars
mergers and acquisitions
Started my legal career at KAZ law firm, and was admitted to the Beirut Bar in 2008.
I have a tracked record of working on over 500 legal cases in corporate, commercial,
real estate, labor, and media fields. Furthermore, my work included advising clients on
contractual, transactional, and regulatory aspects, setting up companies and sole
proprietorships, drafting and negotiating various contracts.
