The electromechanical engineering program is multidisciplinary, combining electricity, mechanics, electronics, automation, and industrial computing. It includes theoretical courses, practical work, internships, and a final project. Graduates acquire skills in designing, maintaining, and optimizing electromechanical systems, with career opportunities in industries such as energy, logistics, and maintenance. During my high school years, I undertook the construction of a turbojet engine based on plans found in encyclopedias. Although this project ended in failure, it was an enriching experience that allowed me to better understand my abilities and sparked my interest in improving aircraft engines. This constant desire for creativity naturally led me to pursue a degree in electromechanical engineering after successfully passing the institute's entrance exam. At the end of my studies, I completed a final-year project entitled "Study and Development of a Test Bench for Railway Braking Systems." This project enabled me to design and build a test bench that is now used as a diagnostic tool for train braking distributors at Industries Chimiques du Sénégal.
