Currently working as a senior inbound tour consultant at Mark Tours and producing the highest number of sales to the company. At the moment working with more twenty five tour operators based in Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, The Netherlands and China.
Impetus Tours (Pvt) Ltd is a Sri Lankan travel company and having a branch office in Bangalore, India. I was working at the Impetus Tours / India office since 10 January 2006 by handling inbound & outbound tours. I was handling mainly tours to Sri Lanka, India, Maldives, Singapore and Malaysia.

I have joined Impetus Tours, as a Senior Tour executive and was promoted as an Assistant Manager after working 6 months in the company.

❑ Nkar Travels & tours (Pvt) Ltd (Sri Lanka)
I joined NKar Travels & Tours as a Tour Coordinator and by the time I have completed my services, I was promoted as a junior tour executive. NKAR Travels & Tours (Pvt) Ltd began on a promising note, way back in 1980, at a time Sri Lanka was fast gaining worldwide attention as a top tourist destination. Ever since then, Nkar have grown from strength to strength and have emerged as a leading player in the travel & tourism industry in Sri Lanka. I was handling most important tourist groups at Nkar, such as "Djoser Holland", "Djoser Germany" and "Djoser USA" which produces more than 1000 tourists per year to Sri Lanka. I have also handled the F.I.T market from Russia and Australia.

❑ Ceylon Hotels Corporation - Travel Bureau
A very gratifying and satisfying way for me to begin my "career proper". I was fortunate to get the opportunity to work as a Travel Assistant at a Semi government company in Sri Lanka.
Ceylon Hotels Corporation, having commenced business in 1967, boasts a diverse collection of 19 hotels, rest houses, resorts and restaurants throughout Sri Lanka, many of which offer an old world charm providing clients with something quintessentially local in the most picturesque and prominent locations known to man. Many are within a few kilometers to renowned historical sites and attractions.
I was in charge on all the reservations at "Travel Bureau" and it was certainly a very important "learning lesson" where I realized how vital it is to develop a winning personality and a positive attitude, which has helped me immensely in my career to date.
