• Delivered complex CAPEX portfolios covering storage tanks, bunds, pipelines (aboveground & underground),
wharf/jetty pipelines, pump stations, utility upgrades, electrical & controls, and terminal infrastructure.
• Led the engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of Australias first high-efficiency Vapour
Recovery Unit (VRU), achieving a 60% reduction in hydrocarbon emissions.
• Directed major brownfield execution, including 100+ live tie-ins, SIMOPS, shutdowns, confined-space entries,
and high-risk construction within operating MHF facilities—completed safely with zero LTI.
• Oversaw bulk fuel vessel logistics, including scheduling, berthing operations, jetty loading/unloading, port
authority coordination, and marine safety compliance during peak-demand and COVID-19 disruptions.
• As Acting Operations Manager, led a 24-person operations team (shore officers and shift leaders) responsible
for 24/7 terminal operations, asset integrity, terminal inspections, and permit-to-work systems.
• Strengthened process safety by leading or participating in HAZOP/HAZID reviews, MoC approvals, alarm
rationalisation, and critical equipment risk assessments.
• Conducted Tripod Beta incident investigations and implemented corrective action plans to enhance operational
safety and reliability.

Key Achievement: Led the brownfield scope for the USD 50Mn fuel terminal Expansion Project—including jetty, tanks,
pipelines, and utilities with 100+ tie-ins—completed on time, safely, and with zero LTI, strengthening Vopaks Asia
Pacific energy supply chain and sustainability profile.

• Delivered EPC scopes for oil & gas, FMCG and utilities projects, including pipeline infrastructure, equipment
installation and major maintenance turnarounds

• Oversaw process water, HVAC, chillers, and wastewater systems for major FMCG production facility

• Managed piping and turnaround projects for Advanced Petrochemical Company within Jubail Industrial City.
