• Executed contracts up to DH 14.65 million comprised of large and complex VHF and UHF two-way radios, LMR, DMR & Tetra systems, GMDSS Communication, navigational, metrological, VSAT, GPS master clock, CCTV & Access Control/Surveillance, IP based Telephony & communication devices, BWA radio links, WiMAX applications, RAN connectivity and mobile data applications, LAN, and SCS systems.
• Attracted and retained globally renown, challenging, and difficult to attain clients including ABB, NPCC, Schneider, CPECC, Bechtel, Saipem, Fischer Rosemount, HLG on behalf of ADNOC Group, ONGC, and PDO Oman, as well as Dubai Petroleum.
• Executed all contracts in adherence with strict budget and schedule timelines.

Led strategic expansion of marine navigational and telecom department and new product development initiatives. Executed comprehensive evaluation of existing operations and restructured department to meet market requirements and out-perform competitors. Moved business from local marine market to encompass service contracts, turnkey telecom installation projects, and refurbishments for local and international marine clients along with new Oil and Gas customers.

• Revitalized losing division, increased profit 25% within two years, with subsequent 10% YoY increases.
• Realized previously untapped revenue from newly expanded Oil and Gas market, awarded contracts valued at up to DH 55 million across the upstream FPSO/FRSU, offshore and onshore rigs sector.
• Awarded “Centre of Excellence” for exceptional service support to Kelvin Hughes clients.
• Facilitated periodic training for engineers to enable principal partners to share technical insights on new products and systems.
• Rendered products and services meeting client expectations, budget, and schedule and subsequently received ancillary orders from international companies including various shipping enterprises, PSA Singapore, numerous drilling clients, SNEF France, Transtel Engineering Singapore, JR McDermott.
• Select projects include design, supply, install and commission of CCTV and Access Security System at the Port of Aden/Yemen; retrofit of Sea Area A1, A2 & A3 Radio Communication Systems on 72 ships; upgrade of communication system for multiple offshore rigs; supply and installation of Non-Directional Beacon (NDB) and ARPA Radar and AIS systems; control rooms navigational & communication platforms.

Was in-charge of the Dubai branch with responsibility of meeting the budgeted P & L targets. Our core
Products were the Radios (PMR applications) and the Satellite Communication Systems specifically meant for various Ports, Establishment and licenced Private Users.
Based on the above, the existing business was strategically planned with proper engineering and systematic execution of the order book. Further, the business activities were augmented with expansion of the product portfolio and this widened the customer base by:
 Winning contracts from Etisalat for Digital Microwave Radio Links for their GSM long/medium and short haul Networks in the 7.5 GHZ, 23 GHZ and other frequency bands
 awarded by ADNOC Group companies/EPCs and PDO Oman the Telemetry Radio System projects like:
o Umm Shaiff and Zakum A & B Oilfields by ADMA-OPCO for their existing SCADA system
o Bab Maqta Taweelah Project 1204 by ADNOC/ADCO (EPC: Snamprogetti)
o Habshan OGD1 Project by ADCO (EPC: Bechtel UK)
o By PDO Oman: Yibaal Gas Project by PDO Oman (EPC: Fisher Rosemount)
 Awarded by WED (EPC: ABB) the CCTV/Security System Project for two Power Stations in Abu Dhabi
The above increased our business revenues, improved the cash flow for day-to-day operations and we emerged out operating as a self-sustained branch of the company.

Gulf Development Systems (GDS), was a start-up in Marine Electronics and Communication systems business for Ships operating in UAE/Gulf. Started operation by tying up with well-known principals like Anritsu, Raytheon & Anschutz. We offered reliable “first visit” repairs/ servicing of the systems, and backed it by ex-stock systems sales as required during the ships’ short stay at ports or at anchorage. With our aggressive approach we were able to establish ourselves in the market within a short period of 18 months. Thereafter, our quality work helped us to achieve a steady growth pattern.
Also got the company registered with the sole Telecom Operator Etisalat. Subsequently we participated in their Tenders enquiries and were awarded a turnkey project to establish a Hardware Repairs Centre (HRC) in their Abu Dhabi facility. This was engineered and equipped with Teradyne Z-8080 Automated Test Station together with Programme Generation, testing & repair bays for the defective PCBs, submodules and Hybrid units.
Also, strengthened our relationship with the ADNOC group, Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Department (WED) and Abu Dhabi Municipality. We were successful in being awarded orders from them for the Fire Alarm & Gas Detection/Control Systems of Windhorst Germany, Control equipment/special valves of Argus & Gestra and Submersible Pumps of Grundfos.
