I joined Société Générale, which is one of the leading banks. It was my first time working in the
banking sector. I was taken on in the consolidation department as a senior consolidator. I was in
charge of a portfolio of entities. I assisted and supported for a portfolio of subsidiaries located in
North America, Europe and Asia such as Société Générale New York and Société Générale
Luxembourg. I controlled their data during the quarterly closings (i.e. shareholders equity, balance sheet and income statement analytical review, taxes, etc.). I was also in charge of transversal
analyses such as the review of assets and liabilities at fair value and hedging within the group. I
prepared the notes on financial assets and liabilities at fair value and hedging according to IAS 39, IFRS
13, IFRS 9, which are included in the universal reference document.
I also improved the process of these transversal analyses. I set up automatic recurring entries in the
Figaro consolidation tool for hedging. I also reviewed the control thresholds for the analysis of
financial assets and liabilities at fair value. I have been promoted and I'm currently the deputy manager.
I'm in charge of supervising 4 consolidators in their work.
I joined an audit firm where I carried out statutory audit assignments. I audited individual and
consolidated financial statements of listed and unlisted companies (respectively in French accounting standards and IFRS), I audited legal documents (i.e. management report, non-financial performance statement, financial forecast reports, annual and consolidated financial statements) I assessed internal control procedures and audit risks. I Supervised junior and senior auditors as part of the legal and contractual audit assignment. You could see in my CV the companies list that I had worked with.
I integrated CGG which is a provider of geophysical services and products to oil and gas companies. I was hired to support these newly integrated entities (Fugro) within CGG. I had to train them in CGG closing process (monthly for intra-group reconciliations and quarterly for actual data).
This enabled me to follow all the stages of an integration (valuation of the entities, accounting for the purchase price adjustment). In addition, my responsibilities also included managing intra-group
reconciliations and internal margins, checking eliminations, analysing provisions for risks and charges and working capital. I also took part in writing the consolidation brochure, as well as setting up training courses on the HFM consolidation tool.
I joined Citelum (a Dalkia subsidiary) for 4 years which is in street lighting sector. I was in charge of the IFRS consolidation sub- level (40 entities for instance France, USA, China, Australia, Mexico, Milan…). This involved providing technical assistance to the subsidiaries in Magnitude (consolidation software) reporting. I report to
the parent company, Dalkia. I also had to set up Magnitude training courses within the subsidiaries.
