Identification and development of the development programs
• Quality control of the project, planning and supervision, Coordinate overseas with the suppliers for the tools and materials.
• Analyzing project narrative reports received from implementing agencies, to track their progress on expected results (including results in equality, governance, and the environment), and to produce written and verbal assessments on the quality of reporting on results and generate recommendations to the Head of Development and headquarters staff on approval of the reports.
• Analyzing project financial reports, working with forecasts, tracking reported project expenditures, checking their eligibility, and seeking clarifications on discrepancies in financial reporting.
• Assessing project implementation plans and project annual work plans from a programming and analytical perspective with a view to formulating an opinion about their quality, including the extent to which they deliver on and adhere to the approved results and budget of the project.
• Monitoring the compliance of implementing agencies with Development Sections contractual; instruments and the regulations governing Development engagement. Specifically ensure compliance with the terms and clauses of contribution agreements, contracts and grants agreements.

• Program on the main issues at play, including keeping track of the work of other donors in sectors relevant to Development Sections work, while being on the lookout for opportunities for Development Section to make its engagement more effective.

Program Support
• Contributing to the collection and roll-up of data and results to support the Programs internal yearly reporting exercise on the achievement of program-level results.
• Contributing to the writing and preparation of strategies and programming frameworks for the Program, in working with Headquarters project and sectorial specialists.
• Identifying, analyzing administering, and participating in negotiations of modifications, extensions, and amendments to project agreements.
• Supporting the Head of Development in the coordination of missions to the field by headquarters management and support staff, liaising with local government officials and partners to arrange for meetings and logistics.
• Preparing regular reports concerning project implementation progress, providing verbal briefings as required and recommending changes as required.
