• Legal counsel in charge to provide best and efficient legal support services within NBAD and give prompt legal advice functions and ensure that efforts are made to align the related laws policies and procedures with regulatory requirements and applicable laws and regulations and coordinating with the NBAD departments, branches and external law firms.
• Responsible & Reviewing legal cases and Lead and manage the creation, implementation and monitoring of the Litigation framework and plan for the legal cases that properly addresses the actions needs and requirements of the related divisions in line with laws, rules and regulations that best meets the needs of NBAD.
• Writing case statements and the replies of the cases by NBAD or against the NBAD.
• Attend court/police hearings/investigation as & when required to preserve the bank rights.
• Undertaking legal meetings with experts appointed by the court in as the banks representative.
• Provide legal advice & support and assistance in timely recovery of NBAD dues and give prompt legal advice on the required action in cases of no payments in time.
• Act as an advisor to the different related divisions across within NBAD authorised expertise as required to provide timely and accurate legal advice on any critical regulatory obligations to ensure continued expertise is provided to the business functions.
• Maintain and build an effective relationship with the related divisions so that effective escalation of issues is achieved and risk managed.
• provide best and efficient legal advice support services within NBAD and coordinating with the NBAD Departments, Branches, and law firms.
• Providing legal advice for the policy and regulation in line with the current law for all real estate transactions and other related laws.
