• Primary Project Manager of Account Opening end-to-end, for automating account opening, signature capturing and integrating an ID card reader device to retrieve customer information. The projects objective was reduce the time taken to open accounts and make retrieving of data more efficient and accurate by enhancing the customers experience. This encompassed the following:

o Redesign forms to be incorporated onto the system.
o Distribute and implement ID card devices to all branches.
o Train the users for appropriate knowledge transfer without affecting their existing responsibilities
o Preparing a process to illustrate the end-to-end steps required for successful accomplishment.

• Primary Project Manager for Teller Cash Repository (TCR) Machine, to reduce the use of cash collection boxes in the teller area by integrating the core banking system with the TCR to automate deposits and withdrawals at the Branch. Planning the execution of the project to accomplish the set objectives of the project.

• Focal point for managing the Department budget by controlling expenditure through monitoring and ongoing basis reconciliation with the various expenditure accounts.

• Focal point for managing change requests, prioritization of changes and ensuring that demand is always met through better capacity planning and resource allocation.

• Maintain deliveries alignment with business prioritization

Budget Control
• Control the spending of the department in coordination with department heads
• Assist head of change and demand management in budget preparation
• Manage the budget of IT effectively and efficiently

Achievements
1. Streamlined the Budget control system by introducing expenditure request forms and a central location to log all the spending’s for future forecasting.
2. Played a major role in introducing a prioritization process for managing capacity versus demand, in order to ensure changes with greater benefits and more efficiency are given priority.

• Project Management of Back Office Applications (RTGS, ACH, SWIFT, HRMS, AML, CIS)
• Providing first level & second level support for all applications and databases
• Providing first level support for Middleware and EBanking
• Preparing and providing Adhoc reports
• Complying with Audit Findings

As part of the job, I was supporting all the remittance systems and the Treasury Banking system.
