I managed all IT activities in the companies which are distributed on Egyptian network starting from Iron mines till final products sale. The Servers includes Solaris 10, Win, Linux Operate Oracle EBS ver 11 and other tailored applications. Other related projects such that Bar Code and weighting cells.
GB Auto is leading player in automotive industry. It is an assembler/distributor of passenger cars/commercial vehicles in Egypt, Algeria, Jordan, Iraq and Dubai.
2004-2007: Planning for implementing Oracle Apps, Gap analysis where the legacy sys was BAAN, Change Management, Migration plan, Defined Testing scenarios, Prototype, UAT, User Training, Go Live support for 15 companies with different business activities.
2007-2008: Improve the implementation environment achieving GB Auto as a potential member in the stock market. Facilitate smooth audit by Price Water Cooper auditors.
2009-2010: Consolidating the affiliated companies into one on line web network environment insuring the full integration having one daily Trial Balance. Defining and performing the KPI’s to monitor and to measure the business flow processes.
2010-2011: Upgrading Oracle to release 12, Migration plan, Utilize the new features and doing the related change management.
2011-2012: Re-design the Chart Of Accounts to align the business growth. Hence re-implement Apps modules and utilize the SLA added feature.
• I managed the implementation covering O2C and P2P cycles driving the instantaneous JE flow to GL. The modules affecting the activities of the GB Account Receivable sector, Account Payables, Cash Management, Safe boxes, Treasury, Bank, Customer department, Sale, Fixed Assets, Notes Receivable, Notes Payable, Purchasing, Inventory, Costing, Budget, BOM, Manufacture and General Ledger in all companies. Managing the Oracle application setup and resolving technical and business problems in the application environment.
• Played a vital role in providing crucial information, reports and system alerts.
• Conducted the business high management, present alternative solutions, developing change management design re-engineering for the business processes.
I left GB Auto Aug 2012 after completing the projects then travelled for completing my Master degree on Dec 2012.
FaDWaSP was a Dutch-funded development project working under supervision of Netherlands. The client was the company of Water and Sanitation in Fayoum. I worked in Cyprus, Fayoum-Egypt and Netherlands locations.
• Evaluated and identified organizational requirements to establish operating procedural standards, recommended IT infrastructure requirements to ensure acceptable levels of security, disaster management, and data recovery plans.
• Designed sites and WAN, formulated quotations, wrote RFP, estimated bidder’s quotation, supervised procurement process, managed tenders and inspection process in procure hardware and software.
• Performed training plan.
• Monitored and controlled budget and the performance indicators to the Dutch donor and to the client.
• Involved in analysis and designing for EDAMS program with the developer company “Hydrocom” in Cyprus for water billing system. Then I supervised the stages of BPM, Gap analysis, system Design, configuration, perform decision support reports and Go Live support.
• Analyzed issues concerning consultancy IT and business activities of client organization.
• Resolved various issues pertaining to financial applications, customer care, payroll, personnel, general ledger, revenue, bills and geographical information sys for piping networks underground.
SmartSoft co. is an Egyptian software company. The client was a transportation company.
• Managed and developed the entire Stock Control system right from inception to completion.
• Evaluated and identified organizational requirements to establish operating procedural standards to ensure acceptable levels of security, disaster management, and data recovery plans. Estimated systems operation costs and prepared cost-benefit analysis.
• Performed regular system checks, security audit, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimum system performance and controlled system access.
Makarem is a group of manufactures and commercial companies working in Egypt for textile.
• Supported the running for IT systems in Marketing, Purchasing, Credit letters and Decision Support applications.
• Introduced Stock Bar-Code system in MECCA factory for carpets.
• Implemented CAD/CAM system for carpets & textile industries. I participated the development process for this system with NedGraphics company in Utrecht city in Netherlands then I implemented it in the Egyptian factories for Makarem group.
Arab Organization for Industrialization is a multinational company in military industries.
• Extracted statistics and key performance indicators from the VMS db2 using SQL.
• As a member in the decision support department in the IT sector, I performed high management reports in HR, maintenance, marketing and finance using C language.
Arabian Data System ADS is a software company in education services.
• Analyzed the project requirements for Saudi education ministry, define the material and implement it using Quest24 graphic package.
Score Consultation Center is a software company in finance services.
• Designed feasibility study package using Basic language to evaluate projects asking for funds by banks.
Micro Film Organization Center is a software company in data archiving services.
• Writing programs for data acquisition and extracting information using COBOL and Assembly language.
