The job involves Engineering, Design, Sizing and Selection of various field instruments, control valve according to the process condition, issuing RFQ, vendor document review, Technical Bid Evaluation, DCS/ESD/F&G IO listing, Logic diagram modification, P&ID review, Tendering of packages like CCTV, resolving technical issue through video conferencing, man-hour & material cost estimation, issue modification approval file, reservation and procurement of material, issue JIR to support construction/maintenance activity for Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Qatofin, Ethylene, Utility and Vinyl Plant.
Job Assignment:
1. Field Instrument engineering (pressure, temperature, flow, level, shutoff valve etc.) of vinyl, chlorine and ethylene plant.
2. Integration of Qatar Petroleum metering station (MS2) to QAPCO through fiber optic network for fuel gas & tale gas, utility air and power supply line. This involves Honeywell DCS/Yokogawa F&G and SCADA IO signal exchange and relevant modification with fiber optic cabling infrastructure.
3. Jetty area CCTV project for security surveillance.
The job involves PMC, Engineering & Design review, Datasheet, Specification, offer evaluation of ESCADA/ Instrumentation ( F&G, Fire Suppression, BMS) /Telecom system and PMC activity for Gathering Center & Pumping Station project for Kuwait Oil Company.
Conversant with HAZOP/HAZID, E&C Quality, vendor & material approval, daily progress report, vendor management, QMS, managing & allocating resources.
Conversant with Shell DEP 31/32/33/62/80.XX.XX.XX-Gen standard, KNPC & KOC-I-XXX, KOC-E/T/L/Q-XXX standard.
Instrumentation, telecom & electrical engineering consultancy, project management, co-ordination with vendor and client, estimation, Office operation management, enquiry administration, enquiry follow up, issuing offer, visiting client site for business development & techno-commercial negotiation, survey, development of website.
The job involves Control System Engineering & Design, Sizing, Enquiry, Technical Bid Evaluation, Procurement of Field Instrument, DCS/ESD/F&G/MCMS system engineering, management of 3rd party packages like ASU(Compressor )/HP/LP & Sour Gas Flare which include reviewing/commenting package deliverables to fulfill client’s standard / procedure and to check completeness / consistency/correctness or contract requirement.
Project Assigned: 1. Instrument & Control System Engineering of Reliance JGP Onshore DTA gasification, utility &
Off-plant, Air Separation Unit;
2. Instrument & Control System Engineering of NW Red Water up gradation of Sturgeon
Refinery, Alberta; Canada, the engineering involves LC finer ie Hydrocracking area;
3. C&I Engineering for Open Book Estimate based on FEED document & client specification for
PEMEX, Salamanka, Mexico.
Execution of Feed verification, estimation, Basic engineering of Telecom & Instrumentation, specification development, Interface management, IQ/TQ issue, material requisition, checking drawing, technical bid analysis, BOQ, input to other disciplines through IDIT, Project progress report, Man-hour estimation etc.
Giving presentation & Training to Graduate Engineers for awareness of discipline procedure, engineering work
instruction, various engineering standards etc.
Awareness of International Standards - ITU, IEEE, IEC, ISO, ISA, ARAMCO(SAES-J&T), EIA/TIA, ETSI, NFPA, BS, BICSI, API, IS, OISD
Project Undergone: 1. Telecom & Instrument Engineering of North/South Tank Firm Facility & Truck Loading Area of
Jazan Refinery having capacity of 4 Lakhs barrel per day for client SAUDI ARAMCO.
Leaded execution of instrumentation, automation engineering project; scope study, deliverable list, document review, instrumentation sizing, tender preparation, project co-ordination for smooth execution of process/mechanical/civil/electrical engineering activity, progress review, client interaction & engineering review meeting, cost estimation for schedule & non-schedule items, supervising document management for timely delivery of document to Client, follow up activity etc.
Project Undergone: 1. Instrument Engineering for Crude Oil Tank Construction project for central process facility and
group gathering station, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) of ONGC. There were 10+6 tanks for
crude oil, wash water and effluent in two areas with associated piping, instrumentation, pump
and other rotating equipment.
2. Electrical & Instrumentation engineering of Bell less system of Blast Furnace of DSP u/d SAIL.
The role in the project was Engineering Manager ( E&I )
3. Project development of Fire Fighting System, Client : CCI, Delhi. The role involves Project
Management Consultancy (PMC), tendering, pre-bid query resolution, construction supervision,
passing bill, generation of invoice for milestone payment.
Executed instrumentation, automation and telecom FEED/Basic Engineering project; E&I data sheet, telecom, information and communication technology specification, design criteria ( communication as well as system and process control), DCS hardware/SCADA specification, detail project engineering report (DPER), MTO and other design deliverables-system architecture, cable block diagram, general communication block diagram, CCTV single line diagram.
Concept engineering, pre-feasibility/feasibility study.
Techno commercial offer evaluation, Cost Estimation etc.
Handling Instrumentation engineering project; check & preparation of instrumentation specification, data sheet, enquiry and other deliverables.
