1. Review of project specifications and submission of compliance statement.
2. Design of Low Voltage/Medium Voltage switchgear (MV Panels, DBs, SMDBs, MCC, PFCU, ATS, firemen & Lighting control panels) as per project specifications and IEC regulations.
3. Verify schematics for control and protection system for LV/MV switchgear.
4. Liaise with the client/contractor/sales team for technical clarifications and drawing approvals.
5. Preparation of design documents(FEED and LEED) for getting approvals from Kahramaa (Water and Electricity Company in Qatar) for MV panels. In Qatar, only after Kahramaa approval, electrical projects can be executed.
6. Analyze shop drawings against technical specifications for error free submittals.
7. Issue final approved drawings (Single Line Diagram (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) Layout, Wiring Diagram (WD) and BOM (Bill of Material) for production manufacturing.
8. Preparation of co-ordination and short circuit study as per client's requirement.
9. Assessment of Fire & Safety Guidelines for Firemen Control Panels as per QCDD (Qatar Civil Defense Department) rules.
10. Respond to technical queries at various stages such as sales, procurement, manufacturing, testing and final release.
11. Preparation of technical database and lessons learned for completed projects.
12. Tracking of design and manufacturing for on time delivery and project accuracy.
13. Support technical inspection at pre delivery stage of panels.

Task Involved:
1. Designing Electrical Schematic & Connection Diagrams using AutoCAD for Low Voltage (LV) starters such as FVNR, VFDs, Star-Delta etc.
2. Delivering CA (Customer Approval) drawings for OEM Customers & MCC.
3. Preparation of MI (Manufacturing Documentation Summary) which includes BOM, Schematic & Connection diagrams, GA (General Arrangement) drawings & Box Layout (Panel).
4. Engineering (Creating BOM) the order through Bid Manager & post release order to the shop through POM (Plant Order Manager).
5. Successful implementation of replica of onsite process at offshore for order release of Enclosed Controls which includes: -
a. Testing & Setup of the tools such as Bid Manager, POM (Plant Order Manager), Vista, Enovia, DA (Design Automation), AS400, AutoCAD 2008 at offshore.
b. Designed Process Flow for newcomers & created checklist for daily processes.
c. Setup & Implementation of QA process for the above activity.
d. Preparation of various activity tracking reports such as Monthly Report & Error Analysis.
e. Conducting WebEx & Tele conference calls with the client for the process stability & improvement.
