MONO ETHYLENE GLYCOL (MEG) AND PURE ETHYLENE OXIDE (PEO
Monitoring of manual welding operations and welders.
Performing RT interpretation of welding joints and other NDT for welding joints.
Inspection of incoming materials by as per codes.
Utilizing various welding techniques such as GTAW& SMAW
Involved in the fabrication /welding and imparting training to welders about the processes
Monitoring stage wise welding jobs & fixing pre-heat & post heat treatment of materials during welding.
Handling various types of documentations like test pack, LHS, welding visual, NDT clearance register, etc.
Monitor sub contractor’s work to comply with company quality standard
Provide technical guidance to enhance subordinates capabilities.
Preparation of final documents of reports.
Maintain safety measures to ensure minimal accidents
Maintained control over inspection process, test criteria & statistical techniques.
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:
Participate project construction kick off meeting
Review & approve contractor QC plan, QC Dossier, in consultation with respective discipline QC Engineers
Responsible for technical arrangements and determinations which have been agreed with the suppliers.
Monitor quality as per approved ITP
Inspect all materials received at site for their required quality and specification as per IFC package
Initiate NCR report against contractor for any violations related to quality issues and work with contractor to resolve it
Carry out inspection for construction activities per approved ITP and QA/QC Procedures
Sign off RFI’s as satisfactory/unsatisfactory and hand over to the construction contractor
Responded to day-to-day quality issues and new material testing and validation
Ensure all raised observations and NCR’s are answered, action completed and signed off
Audit contractor offices, yards, fab shops for quality requirements compliance and also project quality files
