Responsible for Overall quality operations
Responsible for effective implementation of ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements
Customer complaints handling and on-time resolution
Analyze potential quality issues and ensure identified corrective actions are implemented on time by relevant functions
Responsible for identification and implementation of process simplification
Ensure finished goods are ready for dispatch on time without any quality issues
Provide professional support to operational business concerning Quality and EHS
Analyze customer complaints / concerns through 8D / RCA and ensure customer issue resolution on time
Prepare IMS internal audit plan based on Risk assessment, perform audit as per schedule and report the findings to Senior management and ensure findings closure on time
Support External audit team for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS Standard Certification
Ensure IMS process documents are effectively controlled in Info System document management system
Ensure projects are executed as per ITP
Analyze NCRs for systemic / critical issues through 8D / RCA and ensure identified corrective actions are implemented on time by relevant functions
Promote and participate in knowledge transfer across Quality community within Alstom Thermal Services
Support implementation of Global Manufacturing Quality System (GMQS) framework in repair facilities
Issuing of work permits to the repair facilities and handle waste disposal management as per JAFZA regulation
Accident and incident analysis through 8D process and reporting
Perform supplier Quality system audits and provide support for supplier Quality System improvements
Responsible for evaluation and approval of parts development through PPEP process and ensure parts are compliance with BS / IEC, ISO and regulatory standards like RoHS & REACH
Analyze and rating vendor performance periodically in order to improve incoming materials quality
Responsible for in-process & Final product quality and ensure products are tested and confirmed to standard requirements
Responsible for third party certification on periodic product type testing
Responsible for calibration of all IMTE
Responsible for overall production activities and resource control
Inventory control of raw material & Finished goods
Initiate performance improvement activities with production team such as downtime reduction, increase of operator efficiency and scrap reduction
Ensure product qualities are maintained as per control plan in all stages of production for LV, MV & HV cables
Responsible for scrap reduction and control on material over usage during production
Analyze, Control & disposition of non-conforming products
Handle customer based audit for product conformity as per International standard
Responsible for incoming raw material testing and approval
Conduct Type test for Cables, PVC, PE, PBT Injection molded electrical components and PVC compounds as per company / Indian standard
Calibration of Lab testing equipments
In charge for shift production activities and resource control
Co-ordinate with purchase team and sales team for on time delivery of products to valued customers
Handle customer related audits
