• Individually responsible for the Sale of Value-Added Products which include Bare & Tinned Wires and Conductors (Class 1, 2 & 5 Conductors) for Copper & Aluminium.
• Responsible for the Profit and Loss related to Bare Conductors segment.
• Cover the GCC region mainly UAE, Oman, KSA, Jordan, Qatar, and Kuwait.
• Support in the sale of Copper / Aluminium Rod business.
• Timely disposal of Copper & Aluminium by-products.
• Sustainability of business and convert the spot orders in long term contracts.
• Follow the CRM techniques to strengthen the bond with customers.
• Daily co-ordination with hedging desk for LME booking of Copper & Aluminium.
• Advise the Customers on Contango, Backwardation, market-spread, etc.
• Co-ordinate with Production and Logistics team for the On-time delivery to customers.
• Regular follow-ups with customers for arrears and future orders.
• Work jointly with technical team for new materials development and customer complaints closure.
• Development of market base in African region. (Ethiopia, Ghana, Sudan and South Africa)
• Reporting to Sales Director/ Deputy CEO.
• Responsible for the Sale of Copper Products which include Copper Rod 25 mm/ 12.5 mm/ 8 mm diameter, Copper Bus Bar- Bare & Tinned, Round Enamel Wire, Paper/ Mica Insulated Conductors (PICC), Earthing Strips, Wires and Conductors (Class 1, 2 & 5 Conductors).
• Maximize the Sales in the territories being handled. (Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, India, Pakistan & African countries)
• Commercial negotiation and Order confirmation after proper approval from senior management.
• Semi-Annual tours to different countries focusing on the expansion of market.
• Co-ordinate with the Hedging desk LME booking and grab the opportunity for backwardation gain.
• Identify the areas of revenue generation and focus on them.
• Responsible for Planning, Scheduling of Dispatches to meet the monthly Sales target for Gold, Silver & Copper Rod.
• Liaison with the Freezone Authorities and Fujairah Customs for the domestic as well as export of the material.
• Responsible for On-Time delivery to all customers.
• Troubleshooting of Customer’s queries on day-to-day basis.
• Support the Customer with all types of documentation on time from the initiation of dispatch up to the delivery of material at Customer’s warehouse.
• Arrange for Duty exemption/ legalization for customers in Gulf region for Copper Rod.
• Focus on the minimization of stock of finished product.
• Focus on increasing the sales order in Middle East Countries, Srilanka and other Eastern Countries for Copper Rod.
• Cold Calling of Customers on Monthly basis.
• Ensure feedback from the Customer is received on quarterly basis and highlight the issues to Production and Logistics.
• Negotiate the premiums of Copper Rod with Customers and take the necessary approval from management for the sales agreements.
• Preparation of Sales Agreement for Gold, Silver & Copper Rod.
• Preparation of Proforma Invoice, Sales Offer and send to Customers.
• Take daily quotations for Gold & Silver premiums from the local customers.
• Co-ordinate with G4S, Transguard, Brinks for the delivery of Gold/ Silver bars.
• Daily co-ordination with the CHA & Transporters for the placement of Containers & Trucks and arrangement of Bill of Lading/ Truck Consignment Note.
• Close monitoring of Letter of Credit & Bank Guarantee (for the Validity, last date of Shipment, Part Shipment, Usance LC Value to accommodate the Interest clause, Discounting rates.
• Co-ordinate with the Finance for the negotiation of documents on time.
• Facilitate LME pricing of Copper and LBMA pricing of Gold & Silver to the Customer by co-ordinating with the Hedging Desk.
• Monthly reconciliation of all the LME/ LBMA bookings taken.
• Prepare the Monthly Sales review report and generate the Hedge exposure (priced but not dispatched and dispatched but not priced).
• Update the documents on regular basis as required for SOX and ISO audits.
