Handling the Traffic Surveillance System and Communication Infrastructure Maintenance & Support Project in for Abu Dhabi Island TMC, YAS Island, SADIYAT Island, Break Waters, RAS AL AKHDAR, AL-RAHA, and AL Dhafrah Region from Department of Transport, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Configuration and commissioning of Pelco Endura System, Cameras, RTMS, & other intelligent surveillance systems.
Demonstrations, evaluations, testing and up gradation of Products
Deliver Technical Customer Training and provide out of hours support as when required
Work with project team members, promote the project progress, according to the project
Installing, configuration and troubleshooting security devices of CCTV Systems
Maintenance, Installation, and Troubleshooting Surveillance devices
Set up the security systems in the form of CCTV cameras in strategic locations and ensure the cameras function
Participating in Team Meetings as required. Provide technical leader‐ship
Communicating technical information to IT staff members
To be responsible and accountable for the proposed integrated technical solutions design across various subcontractors and subsystem solutions.
Support the Design Team Lead in understanding the technical risks, dependencies and issues that exist and be able to quantify these and the impact that they may have on the project in a concise legible reporting format.
Ensure that all project specifications are implemented in the technical solution and are compatible with the project's overall architecture including structured cabling.
Identify any and all compliance issues with recommended resolution options.
Contribution to overall strategic planning process, bringing current knowledge and future vision of integrated security systems technology towards a competitive advantage.
Can Create CCTV design drawings based from the guidelines set by the Monitoring and Control Center (ADMCC). Can also assign the correct CCTV Operational Requirements as per the latest guidelines
Design & shop drawing preparations for other E-Surveillance Systems such as Access Control System, Parking Management systems, IP CCTV, NVR, VMS.
Have a strong educational background & hands-on experience on IT Active Networking Devices such as Linksys, & other popular brands.
Conduct testing & commissioning (T&C) for the above mentioned E-Surveillance systems. Preparing T&C method statement, testing sheets, & other documents as required.
Can adapt to a wide range of engineering chores; from being a design engineer, systems programmer, to CAD operator.
Had shown great leadership qualities, and performed as a good team member as well
Broad knowledge of the following technologies: CCTV, IP video, Intelligent Video, video storage & archiving, command/control display technologies and general Security system principles and practices.
Good knowledge of technical infrastructure and integration technologies to include power, UPS, networking, communications,
Experience of design and implementation of large scale integrated security systems and complex projects.
Demonstrate experience in the design, procurement and application of IT/security solutions/techniques in a commercial and/or law enforcement environment.
Network experience to include WAN, LAN, firewall, network switch technologies and video transmission on IP networks.
Strong team player who can communicate, motivate and interact effectively with technical, commercial and clerical team-members.
Production of Construction and O & M documentation.
Expertise in technical proposal preparations, bill of quantities (BoQ), compiles technical specifications and provide detailed information for production in CAD drawings/schematics
Prepare written documentation, bill of quantities (BOQ) and specifications covering:
Client requirements
Detailed drawing/schematic information (CAD engineer)
Team support functions
Functional as a team resource to ensure timely and adequate response to new installations and service requests With Team Leaders, plans security installations by surveying and evaluating location
Work closely with Operations Managers & Technicians to assist with the installations of new systems and various enhancements to existing commercial security systems
Programming and implementation of programs for access, CCTV, and other security systems when needed.
Ensure completion of technical and administrative documentation on work completed
