• Handling various processes including checking/correction of documents & amendments in a transfer L/C, operational risk management, activation & release of Swift MT720s & other messages, scrutiny of assignment proceeds etc.
• Working with the UAE Central Bank FTS Edge system on various transactions including payments, charges, commissions etc. Along with daily activation of transactions, settlement, liability booking & reversals.
• Ensuring all trade transactions are fit to process through verification. Compliance & adherence with all AML policies.
• Primary contact for customers/staf/RMs/branches & customer service representatives, assisting them with L/C applications, documents & helping them present credit compiled documents.
• Maintaining a staf error register & customer feedback register, to improve quality of service & ensure a seamless transaction.
• Ensuring high quality service to push forward the legibility of the brand that the bank represents.
• Working with sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
• Preparing statutory accounts.
• Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
• Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
• Managing petty cash transactions.
• Controlling credit and chasing debt.
• Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
