• Manage a portfolio of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Contract agreements.
• Provide comprehensive support to the Head of Contracts in various contract management activities that encompasses strategic development, subcontractor qualification exercises, and the meticulous preparation and issuance of key documents such as Expression of Interest (EOI), Letter of Intent, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Invitation to Tender (ITT) and Letter of award (LoA).
• Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports of Contract agreement.
• Generate reports for Management outlining contract status, performance and potential issues which includes contract amendment, renewals, change order and claims.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing contractual obligations by actively engaging in the application and administration of bank guarantees and insurance. Consistently ensured compliance with contractual requirements by meticulously preparing and submitting applications for bank guarantees, effectively mitigating financial risks associated with projects.
• Evaluate the need for contract amendments or renewals and initiate the process as required.
• Ensure that amendments are properly documented and approved.
• Preparing correspondences to client and subcontractors.
• Maintaining correspondence register for all incoming and outgoing contractual letters.
• Providing weekly report to finance department on issued subcontracts and contracts for tax reporting.
• Ensure contract compliance and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop contract terms and conditions that meet business objectives while mitigating risks.
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates to management on contract performance, milestones, and obligations.
• Resolve contract disputes and issues through effective communication and negotiation.
• Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and contract management databases.
• Assist in the development and improvement of contract management processes and procedures.
• Conducted market research to evaluate vendor proposals and pricing.
• Handled pre-qualification process for subcontractors, including RFQs, contract pre-award meetings, and final negotiations.
• Consistently delivered wide range of project support services through efficient negotiation, vendor management, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure all liabilities and obligations of main contract are applied to vendor/subcontractor.
• Track Vendor/Subcontractor services at site and request budget adjustment from management as per site utilization and subsequently issue variation order if required
• Resolve Vendors' & sub-contractors invoices mismatches and discrepancies.
• Attend Commercial clarification meetings with vendors/Subcontractors/Service Providers.
• Maintain close relationship with Finance Department to ensure that payments are processed on time.
