Primarily responsible for daily reconciliation of speed cash, Nostro, Sama, Hedge, Trade and suspense accounts being maintained with correspondent bank to ensure smooth operations and timely settlement of entries at both sides.
Review all the speed cash Nostro, Sama, Hedge, and Trade Nostro accounts. Print all reconciliation banking report (RBR) to check opening and closing balances at both end i.e. Ledger/statements. In case of found any variance, investigate the root cause and highlight the same to unit head for its resolution
Manage all activates related to Nostro accounts balance confirmations.
Checking swift messages from correspondent bank. Checking transaction in SIMS (samba information management system) and cold system.
After auto reconciling of entries through system, identify the transactions which requires matching manually. Matches the entries manually that fulfilled the matching criteria (debit/credit).
Against each open item, forward the detail of entry to respective department through email for timely resolution and liquidation of entries.
For those open items which require further details, follow up with correspondent bank through email or telex message to provide the comprehensive information for further settlement at our end.
Track the follow up and in case of non-receipt of reply from internal departments (CMO, IOSD, TOSD and TBS) or correspondent bank, forwards the reminder to expedite the matter. If necessary escalate the same to unit head for further necessary action.
Supervise, guide and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities in accordance with the policies and procedures. Have good knowledge, about reconciliations system and activities.
