Fire Protection System
• Review, Approval active role in the FPS Design Drawings, Material Submittals, Engineering Calculations etc as per the DEWA Specifications & requirements and as per the International Standards (NFPA) & Codes and Last but not the least Dubai Civil Defence Codes and practices
• Review & updation of FPS Specifications & Data Sheets from time to time as per the International Standards (NFPA) & Codes.
• Site visits from time to time for checking up the FPS Installation & ensuring that the erection is as per the approvals and standards.
• Active member of Factory Inspections of Fire Protection equipment’s such as Pump sets, Gas suppression systems, and Fire Alarm systems
• Witnessing “FPS testing and commissioning” Activities for all the DEWA substations.
• Issue Site Notes for any discrepancies observed at site.
• Co-ordinating with other sections/departments from Commissioning Department, Projects, Engineering, Maintenance etc for the effective execution of all the related Testing & Commissioning Activities.
• Review & Approval of Testing & Quality Procedures, Site Test Acceptance Reports. & Final Commissioning Check List.
• FAT and SAT
• Preparation of Final Snag List.
• Issue of NOD’s for defects during warranty period.
• Review & Approval of As Built Drawings & O&M Manuals.
• Attending/Clearing the Snag List/Defects/Nod’s in co-ordination with the contractors.
• Ensuring Total Quality & Reliability of the FPS System.
• Co-ordination of activities during Emergency.
• Working on Master Plan and Master Schedule.
• Organizational Chart Review and changes
• Collecting information and compiling useful data for meetings
• Started working in line with the audit team.
I was the Lead L2 service engineer at the above mentioned company located in Dubai Airport Free zone major role is to Repair the cell phones of the customer (based in Iran) complaints. I lead the team of 2 engineers and 4 technicians.
Ensuring TAT of 5 days
Working in an ESD environment
Quality assurance of the repaired phones
Logistics of the mobile phones is controlled by me
Apart from the above I was
• Receiving Reports & identify the integrity of the daily shipments
• Ensuring if there is any OS&D (Overage, Shortage & Damaged) in the delivery of the mobiles & taking appropriate measures to minimize losses to the company action.
• Directly reporting to the Supplier as well as the End-user in case of any discrepancy.
• Uploading all the IMEI of the shipment into the spread sheets for any products moved in the warehouse in case of discrepancy.
• Providing Monthly reports of inventory to the manager.
• Keeping Track of all the late & damaged deliveries.
• Coordinating the interface between logistics functions, such as transportation, Maintenance & warehousing to ensure effective, timing & cost effective support.
• Ensuring proper & timely manner of delivery to the End-user.
• Coordinating and Collecting the Details from the staff and updating the manager in time
• Checking all materials between logistics functions, such as transportation, maintenance & warehousing to ensure effective, timing & cost effective support.
• Verifying shipment against appropriate Purchase order for verification of delivery Vs. Purchase request.
• Inspecting inbound shipments for damage and completeness
