Responsible of the pro-rod manufacturing facility in Salalah-Oman and focus on planning, HSE, organizing, directing and running optimum day to day operation to exceed customers’ expectations and increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and minting current quality standards, response for production output and product quality.

• Held accountability for planning day-to-day plans/schedules for resource allocation and machine loading to ensure optimum results and supervising plant shifts in the coiled sucker rod plant commissioning and operations
• Play an instrumental in ensuring QHSE & plant oriented activities are in line with DME objectives
• Supervise the development & plant related activities Viz. interaction with customers for new business development, preparation of project reports, submission of machining quotation, technical issues, machining rate finalization basis cycle time etc.
• Specifically responsible for executing quality tools for ensuring process capability as per specifications/requirements
• Deliver administrative support for the implementation, compliance, participation and establishment/review of toolbox talks, pre/post job meetings and other risk prevention and mitigation measures; adhering to DME quality, health, safety & environmental standards and policies, as well as any other and local regulatory requirements
• Draw up project plans, schedule of activities, budget, & cost estimates, plan, procure, mobilize, and deploy resources to deliver the project within defined time and costliness
• Apply sharp analytical abilities to oversee the implementation of new process concepts for plant optimization, yield improvement and develop guidelines for sequencing manufacturing activities on the shop floor
• Ensure timely calibration of all instruments, gauge’s, fixture, weighing m/c for complete reliability & functional correctness
• Undertake full accountability for executing operational techniques for reduction in cycle time & identification of improvement opportunities and cost reduction measures to achieve substantial reduction in project expenditure
• Responsible for directing manufacturing activities with accountability for strategic utilization of available resources & machine loading; preparing work instructions for operations of the unit

• Demonstrate exemplary expertise in supervising all production operations, including technical inputs for innovative methodologies, identifying areas of obstruction and advising on process changes of site activities for improvements
• Initiate continuous improvement concept to enhance working practices, procedures, standards, and machine performance
• Formulate plans for taking trial runs of the installed equipment/machineries
• Propagate quality circle movement & develop quality culture in the work force to achieve quality leadership in the industry
• Chart maintenance schedules for all instruments; Monitor maintenance activities, ensuring minimum operation free time
• Plan preventive maintenance of various machineries and instruments to increase machine up time & equipment reliability
