 Procurement of Capital equipments for Project in compliance with company purchase policy and good trade practices, for plant development.
 Explore & develop new sources for the supply of major critical items.
 Coach and support the Materials team in achieving key measures. Develop skills in the team to meet current and future challenges
 Identify and implement systems and processes to ensure material is available timely in the correct locations for all customers
 Develop and implement best practices across the supply base. Materials Agreements, cross functional improvement teams, work flow improvement, New Product introduction, and total cost reductions
 Responsible for the development and implementation of tactical strategy in all areas of Materials (Planning & forecasting of Direct and Indirect Materials for current and new products, Shipping, Receiving and storage of Materials. Implementation of our Logistics strategy, and accuracy of inventory systems and control).
 Achieved Cost Reduction & Saving Target in 11 Months after introducing the alternate Substitutes of Various Consumables Viz - Reference Standards, HPLC Column, Gloves, Lint Free Mops, Disinfectants, A4 Paper, Glassware, Reagents & Media & Maintained Schedule Rate Contracts for Various Items like Glassware, Reagents With Bottom Price compared to the Industry .

 MRO Procurement:
 Procurement of MRO / Capital equipments in compliance with company purchase policy and good trade practices, for plant development, capacity enhancement and for implementation of technology up gradation.
 Preparing open order contracts for supply of frequently ordered items of A, B, C category items based on annual consumption data records to reduce ordering cost as well inventory level.
 Works closely with other members of Material Management Team, Production & Project Department.
 Proactively manage and control all inventory across the plant, achieving & beating planning goals, and minimizing wherever possible, whilst still achieving all internal customer requirements.
 Responsible for the development and implementation of tactical strategy in all areas of Materials (Planning & forecasting of Direct and Indirect Materials for current and new products, Shipping, Receiving and storage of Materials. Implementation of our Logistics strategy, and accuracy of inventory systems and control).
 Set aggressive targets for all key materials measures and implement processes to ensure targets are achieved
 While Setup of DRL Unit -2 at Baddi, Handled the CAPEX Procurement & Logistics in Coordination With the CAPEX Team, Hyderabad . Ensured the Material made available at Project Site on the Target Timelines after Coordinating With the Transporters & Concerned Service / Material Providers

Packing Material’s Vial, Seals, Hanger, Cartons ( Mono/ Master/Super master), Labels & Products Literature on Annual rate Contract Basis, Vendor Development, Finalization of Specification packing material for New Product Launch With Coordination of QA Department . Handled Capital Procurement for another Unit came up in Baddi & Handled Procurement of Packing Machine, Labeling, Utilities - Boilers, DG, Compressors, Lyophilizes & Various Lab Instruments Like Particle Counters, Consumable for Lab Visa - Glass Ware, Regents, Particle Counters Etc after Vendor selection, negotiating, freezing Terms & Condition and Negotiation / Finalization of Annual Maintain ace contract for the above utilities,

Initially, The Company deputed at their Subsidiary M/s National Bicycle Company, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania to look after the Logistics & PPC for Marketing of their Bicycle Market in Neighboring & Upcountry . Being 80% of the Bicycle Components were sent from India & assembly was done at Tanzania Plant, thus Looking after the Complete Logistics Viz - Clearance Formalities of Container at the Dar- Es- Salam Customs House, Payment of Custom Duty, Payment of Shipping Lines, Arranging Unloading & Loading of Components from Port to Plant . Arranging the Unwanted Inventory in Custom Bonded Warehouse & arranging the same as & when required at the plant after Payment of Custom Duty .Filing of Insurance Claims against the Damage With the Concerned Insurance agency & expedite the same.

Due the Termination of Work permit came back in 2000. After Coming Back from Tanzania, Taken the Charge for procurement of Various Items like: Semi finished, Finished & Consumables required for manufacturing of complete bicycle which are HR Steel, MS Round, Bicycle parts finished & unfinished, Lacquers & Packing materials.

 Establishes standing orders and blanket orders for routinely ordered products with guaranteed/firm prices for a given period.
 Solicit and analyze both verbal quotations and competitive sealed bids.
 Recommend awarding of Purchase orders, Ensuring that all purchasing comply with accepted trade practices. Trains and familiarizes departments within the organization on Purchasing Polices.
 Analyze and review all requisitions for complete information and proper authorization.
 Interview vendors and maintain contact by written or telephone correspondence. Recommends substitutes whenever applicable to save cost or improve delivery of products, as well as solve invoice discrepancies and associated problems for area of Responsibility

 Arranging the Complete Logistics of Import & Export consignment from Plant - Rajpura to CFS ( Container Freight Station ) Ludhinana .
 To get Pre Shipment Document approved from Custom at CFS, Ludhiana & submission of Post Shipment Document at Bank for negotiation .
 To file claim for Duty draw Back at Custom on all Industry rates after the shipment of consignment. To Apply & Monitoring Export Obligation of Duty Free Advance Licenses for Manufacturing Imported Bicycle after Importing from various South East Asian Countries on Duty Free Basis. To coordinate with shipping lines for clearance of Import consignment from Customs.
 To Call samples of Various Bicycle Components from South East Asian Countries, Getting the same approved as per required specification from Quality & Design Department. Upon the Approval from Quality & Design Department, Processing the LC after finalization of Rates from the Management.
