•Responsible for movement of glasses from initial to final processing stations ensuring transfer in-order to bring the status of each project to the verge of 100% completion.
•Collect information from Planning In-charge for any new updated orders and if updated check the Crystal Reports for further clarity of quantity of glasses and the release dates
•Check and arrange glasses for Coating Unit as per coating plan and coordinate with Dispatch team for
•Maintain and update daily status reports of glasses sent and balances to send.
•Collect Daily production reports from subordinates of processing unit and analyze output to take necessary actions for improvements.
•Analyze rejections on each processing line and identity major reasons of rejection and represent graphically as per shifts in-order to help enhance productivity and efficiency..
•Document all reports and submit them daily to the Production Manager.
•Perform multitasks as and when required.
Effective handling of Overall Planning activities in liaison with Engineering Dept-Materials Dept-Sales Dept-Production-Dispatch for all steel structure projects.
Daily Meetings with Operations Manager, Production In-charge & Materials in-charge for status and actions to
sort out any hindrances taking place against smooth flow of operations.
Reporting to Operations manager on updates of Engineering activities, material requirements and priorities.
Keeping track of status of projects and take immediate action on delays.
Meetings with clients pertaining to any technical change within the project and prompt communication to
Operations manager and Engineering Dept for their action.
Controlling Issuance of drawings for ongoing projects as well as ready to start projects, to production in charge in-order to avoid duplication.
Generate reports of Total time, including over time and rework time, invested by individual employees on
each ongoing projects. Reports are based on Daily job report per resource.
Monitor Individual Over-time reports on monthly basis for analysis and on time submittal to Accounts Dept.
for disbursement of corresponding wages.
Understanding requirements of tools and machineries enhancing productivity and putting up proposals
upfront with Operations Manager.
Discussions & Implementations tending to improvise production floor layout for optimized delivery of
performance as well as improved work atmosphere for blue collars, also delivery of quality works from each
individual.
Efficiently undertake planning and production operations in the manufacture of advanced paint dispensing and
tinting machines and fine tuning of tinting system based on monthly target; schedule line balancing and prepare
monthly schedule, perform Manpower management to attain optimum as well as maximum production capacity.
Deftly guarantee flawless production operations, conduct process study/audit, plan workstations, prepare shop
layout along with Equipment to ensure optimum conditions for achieving organizational targets for meeting
demands from customers such as Jotun Paints, Akzo Nobel, Asian Paints, Berger Paints and all Leading global
Paint Companies.
Ensure maximum efficiency of machinery, monitor productivity of Assembly lines with respect to Production plan.
Maintain 100% delivery performance to Main M/c Assembly Line. Check continuously day to day In process
rejection with line operators and prepare suitable methods to avoid them.
Manage, Plan & Support in controlling material issuance schedule & ensure adherence to the same.
Direct and delegate responsibilities to subordinates and insist on ideal working conditions to maintain work flow
and manage production quality & quantity shift wise.
Plan & arrange suitable material handling & facilitate FIFO.
Provide necessary assistance to Materials / Stores & Production shops for ensuring minimum inventory levels.
Accountable for SAP ECC 6.0 as Power User for PP & MM Modules. Resolve/Minimize manual activities and
strengthen SAP usage among the end users/teams.
Analysis of the system errors and provide documented solutions to all the users. Monitor and assist supply chain
related month end closing processes. Initiate debugging of the issues related to all PP & MM users.
Maintain and assist in maintaining the Master data’s such as Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Work Centre,
Vendor Master, Info Records, Excise Masters, Condition records etc. Provide support to all the end users in
resolving SAP issues & errors.
Handling Purchase, starting from getting quotations from vendors, identifying competitive vendor till finalizing the
deal for Tools & Machineries related to production and Maintenance to improve efficiency and productivity.
Handling Factory Maintenance, AMC contracts of Utilities and ensuring timely servicing of utilities.
Efficiently undertook Quality control of semi-finished goods, followed sampling plan, maintained reports for parts
checked and QC passed, verified components dimensional stability.
Performed assigned tasks in line with production plan to achieve targets; conducted meetings with sub-ordinates
for discussions on the plan as well as taking short sessions on the significance of maintaining 5S on shop floor.
Prepared and provided reports to Superiors on Daily Production and Rejection.
