Main duties perfomed:
. Initiate contact with clients and explain what each company can offer them.
. Showing kitchen styles, appliances, and the best storage solutions to customers.
. Helping customers to visualise their ''dream kitchen'' and get it on paper.
. Dealing with calls from customers, head office, fitters and suppliers.
. Coach/develop and provide feedback to employees and address their issues, to ensure true engagement within the team.
. To analyze procedures and recommend/implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality of product and implement changes to increase efficiency of department or work crew.
. To maintain a high level of morale and team-work on the production floor through frequent communication with employees to keep them informed of any new products and/or procedures, and to listen to employee concerns.
Responsible for supervising teams of 10 by planning and allocating work for them.
Duties:
. Standing in for the production manager when required.
. Assisting in the investigation of accident and incidents.
. Escalating any production related engineering, quality and material supply issue.
. Marking received orders on to the system.
. Monitoring employee lateness and absences.
. Dealing with production team grievances and disciplinary procedures.
. Taking decisions within standard working procedures and methods.
. Filling in and then filing all documentation correctly and comprehensively.
. Reporting and recording deficiencies with in the plant.
. Correcting unsafe acts and then communicating them to the responsible party for correction.
Water Jet Operator
. Experience using pure Water jet and Abrasive Water jet.
. Managed the Flowmaster programming and design of desired parts.
.In charge of inspecting finished parts such as motor seals, airplane parts, and various metal parts that the company required.
Decorose is specialized in room design and execution, so i was part of the team of technicians in charge of the execution part involving hard wood floors, wall paper and gypsum board ceilings.
Occasionally my sense of design and practicality was put into good use by the boss as he asked for my opinion.
