Head Nurse
Main Role: Fully responsible in directing, organizing and strategic planning of the nursing unit within the one day surgery center under the hospital facilities.
- Maintain and provide update to all medical records, pending services for all the patients either OPD or O.R.
- Supervise efficient working of staff and coordinate with other departments to develop all clinical services.
- Manage all patients in units and provide and recommend most cost effective methods and assist in physicians needs and concerns, participate in periodic performance and evaluate performance improvement plans.
- Oversee work of nursing department and supervise all medical and mange recruitment of staff and provide required training for all staff in all department.
- Organize and prepare schedule for all the nursing team according to the needs of the hospital policies and manage all resources.
- Monitor all patient care activities and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures to satisfy and meet the quality patient care.
- Develop quality assurance program for all nursing activities and maintain control standards on all work to prepare required JCI and SBAHE reports.
- Provide orientation to all new nurses and prepare training program as per requirement and implement all changes on systems and evaluate all continuous quality improvement programs for documentation.

Nurse Team Leader/Charge Nurse
Main Role: To lead and work within the practice O.R. nursing team, ensuring a high quality of nursing service is provided to internal and external patients of the medical center.
- Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and other medical and non-medical staff.
- Manage training rotation for all the nursing staff and create a training plan for the new nurses.
- Maximize education and development of the nursing staff by assisting the nursing team in the rotated task assigned until we reached the common goal which is to enhance knowledge and perform quality skills in each segment.
- Promote, monitor and participate in all quality improvement activities particularly promoting smooth patient flow with quality of nursing care.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support for the center staff members by acting as a role model in all the center activities within and outside the institution.
- Ensure care is provided to the patients in accordance with appropriate professional and company standards by ensuring that all registered nurses know and understand the procedures for documenting the right health records for the right patient.
- Manage all treatment and care related resources in an effective and cost efficient manner and maximize opportunities for nurse income degeneration by maintaining adequate stock levels of care related items without overstocking and ensuring all care equipment’s are highly maintained in a serviceable manner.
- Coordinate’s in preparing the OR schedule in a manner that deliver’s proper care to the patient’s considering their type of day case surgery.
