A project of improving the resilience of Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanian through integrated solid waste management practices.
● Managing a cash for work component through :
- Improving the capacity building for a stake holders and partners in (coordination, monitoring, social security registration, issue work permits, reporting, financial procedures, data entry, CFWs training, occupational Safety Training) and continuous follow-up to their work in able to manage the CFWs activities to the fullest.
- Preparing plans for a CFWs cycles starting dates, numbers required for each activity, and a CFWs transportation during a project duration to ensure a proper implementation of a project activities.
- Preparing the payroll for CFW beneficiaries including the submission of timesheets and a payroll sheets to finance department and filling payroll sheets and attendance sheets on GIZ system.
Manage cleaning, planting, outreach and awareness raising campaigns by:
- Coordinating with a municipality, a cooperative, and local community to identify the targeted workplaces and prepare a work plans for activities.
- Preparing awareness material, fliers and brochures, and explain the benefits and instruction to use a compost product.
- Managing outreach and data collection of a local markets and stake holders, and reflex a data on different tools and support the MEAL department on an assessments.
Manage a compost unit by:
- Managing a compost producing by making sure of the quality of raw materials to meets the standards, prepare operational plans and supervise the daily activities for mixing and curing the compost piles.
- Design plans and tools for monitoring and following up on composting processes.
- Did Assessments for local farms to assess the specifications needed for the product.
- Management and continues monitoring of the sampling process of a product to ensure it is in accordance with the required standards and specifications.

gather information on themes of impacts and vulnerability under drought: food security theme include issues of food and water borne disease, livestock, rangeland degradation, food prices, and intensification of poverty. Gender theme will look at issue of water and food borne disease. Economic impacts will look at issues of livestock, food prices, and intensification of poverty. Finance theme will look at issue of livestock and intensification of poverty.
