- The role as an Architect is to support and coordinate with GHD Adelaide office and at the same time support other OC such as GHD offices in Abu Dhabi, New Zealand and Melbourne
- Assign to visit the GHD Abu Dhabi offices for coordination meeting with client groups, colleagues and building services. Performs site visit to personally inspect the current situation of the site.
- Able to lead the team in project design discussions with project teams and also capable to work independently.
- Prepare conceptual presentation sketches / plans / BIM models(REVIT) / images based on written project briefing or discussions.
- Manage the time and tasks of those placed under his/her direction
- Preparation of detail drawings based on previous examples or more frequently concept sketch designs utilizing advanced knowledge of relevant design, drafting and modelling principles.
- Preparation of detailed master plan and sketches to the client, Room data Sheets and FF&E Schedules
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines
- Ability to delegate and monitor the tasks of more junior staff
- Provide assistance in the stitching of scans, point cloud modelling, documentation and coordination for the New Zealand Team
- Ensure knowledge of all applicable local design guidelines, codes & international standards.
- Perform other duties that may be require in the job.
- The role as an Architect is to lead an architectural team on projects such as hospital and Doha Metro gold line underground, including effective coordination with external sub-consultants, specialists and contractors, as the lead consultant to liaise well with clients’ representatives.
- Report to Project Director on a regular basis regarding progress, design, quality, resources, changes, site issues, planning issues etc.
- Able to prepares all the required documentation, coordination for the renovation and fit out services of Abu Nakhla General Hospital
- Perform Clash detection using Navisworks. Troubleshoots any problems that arose on the project
- Attends coordination and workshop meeting with clients and other disciplines involved.
- Responsible for BIM models and Issues and to ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan -
- Assigned to prepare Field Change Request (FCR) and Interface Control Form (ICD) drawings based on the query of PMC and Clients.
- Preparation of design drawings (M1 to M4) stage to the specific instructions outlined in the Detailed Design documents and drawings. (Doha Metro Gold line Underground Project)
- Prepares the presentation regarding in the design for Clients
- Team Co-Leader for 3d animations for 10 stations. - Assigned for Material Selections in the project and explains to the client regarding the Touch and Feel of each material selected.
- Attends on-site visits, field reviews and project meetings and documents as appropriate.
- Ensure knowledge of all applicable local design guidelines, codes & international standards.

- Prepares plans, layouts, and sections elevations for the designs of utilities, landscape and utility buildings for master planning in concept design stage.
- Prepares plans, layouts, sections, elevations, details and shop drawings of utility buildings like Substations, pump stations, parking areas, control rooms and loading platform for the light rail network.
- Prepares sketch up model for utilities and Landscape in presentation for the client. Interpret client briefs, develop conceptual / detailed architectural design, and manage the execution and delivery of the projects at the various stages.
- Prepares BOQ in the project and answering RFI. Ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards for QP projects. (ESD 10) Design coordination with Civil, Utilities, Roads, Structural, Buildings Services and Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentations and Telecoms departments.
- Attends on-site visits, field reviews and project meetings and documents as appropriate.
- Prepares the DRC/CRS comments coming from the Clients
- Assigned for the Audit of the drawings for internal and for the Clients.
