• Prepare written evaluation, testing, measuring, charting, procedures and specifications.
• Establish supplier evaluations and coordinate standard expectations with supplier representative.
• Conduct audits of quality methods and procedures.
• Directly analyze production quality problems and recommend solutions.
• Investigate customer complaints or returns.
• Maintain statistical data and files.
• Determine and recommend necessary inspection and test equipment required for incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Plan work in conjunction with subordinates, assist in determining causes for faulty work, quality failures, and scrap or rejects.
• Review the project specifications, amendments and drawings in their entirety.
• Prepare a quality control program. The quality control program will include a method statement to be prepared for each trade and discipline.
• Generate, review and update the submittal register.
• Check as built drawings and shop drawings for accurate dimensions.
• Ensure compliance to applicable Specifications and drawings of materials proposed for the project.
• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
• Make sufficient daily inspections to ensure that all workmanship and materials during the construction of the project are in strict compliance with the plans and Specifications.
• Be responsible and present for all testing as required by the Specifications.
• Attends to tasks that maybe assigned from time to time
• Estimate remaining works & variation orders for materials purchasing
• Monitoring & supervision of project with respect to project schedule
• Financial budgeting & payroll distribution
• Preparation of as-built drawings for accomplishment report
• Processing of building permits for occupancy.
