Ormesani is an international freight forwarding and logistics company with offices in Venice, Rome and Milan. Ormesani’s key markets are shipping to and from the Far East, Asia, South America and the U.S.A.
Promoted to this role after two years in the Operations team. This role is responsible for managing relationships with carriers, suppliers and customs agents to deliver best value freight services to global customers.
Worked in conjunction with the Sales and Logistics Manager. Gathered client requirements, compared carrier prices and prepared the best value quotes for customers.
Managed relationships with airline and shipping carriers, transport companies and the Customs Department by phone and email.
Prepared instructions for the Operations team to manage the shipment process.

Secured mark-up of between 25% and 100% for every quotation.

Managed several large-scale and complex cargo projects, including:
Supervised the development of new trade routes from Italy to North Africa for a textile export business. Managed quotations and Customs regulations between EU and Bosnia.
Developed and managed a new trade route for CROCS Italy from China to Bosnia.
Supervised the shipment of 30 prefabricated warehouses from Italy to Algeria.
SIMOMIRA is a consulting company that assists firms that are going to start a hotel.
Worked as a Housekeeping Supervisor with responsibility of supervising work activities of cleaning staff to ensure clean, orderly and attractive rooms.
Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
