- Benefits Policies & Program - Develops, implements, communicates and monitors all Benefits Programs.
- Store People Programs - Works with Store Management and Operations Management to ensure that all Store People Programs are used effectively and productively. This includes training store and operations management on how to implement all programs, and monitoring their effectiveness by conducting a minimum of two Human Resources Audits per store per year.
- Staffing and Retention - Works with department heads to ensure that the stores and office are staffed to meet short and long term objectives.
- Strategic Human Resource and Career Planning & Development - Works with management to complete the Human Resources portion of the Budget & Plans.
- Labor & Immigration law compliance -- Ensures that all staff and store management are trained on and correctly implement all applicable Labor & Immigration Laws. Monitors implementation to ensure compliance.
- Payroll Compensation & Benefits Administration - Ensures that all personnel compensation and benefits are effectively administered. Works with the Stores and the Accounting Department to ensure that all employees are paid efficiently, correctly and on time.
- Manage employee relations activities related to disciplinary action and conflict resolution in the form of counsel and advice.
- Counseling to all staff so they can positively overcome any problem, which might affect their job performance and personal well-being.
- Responsible for creating a fair, respectful, diverse and high performance culture enabling people to contribute their best.
