PONSIBILITIES / WORKS HANDLED:
• Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals in Lighting Industry
• knowledge of DIALUX 4.12 Version for Lux level calculation
• Select the Product as per the client specification and budged of project value.
• Prepare the costing sheet and commercial offer as well as negotiate with manufacturer/client.
• Understanding of luminaire distribution by studying polar curve
• Identifying appropriate luminaires for the desired application to provide optimum utilization of light and to avoid light pollution
• Knowledge of international standards for luminaire construction
• Prepare the Technical Submittal in order to get the client/consultant Approval.
• Technical support and suggestions for the sales team
• After-sales support services
RESPONSIBILITIES / WORKS HANDLED:
• 33KVHT/LT operation and Maintenance
• 2500KVA Transformer and MV panel Operation and Maintenance
• Trouble shooting of all all electrical machine and PLC controls such like Dyeing Process
• To maintain the machineries in the shift and to minimize the break down time
• Placing Purchase Requests for spares in Electrical
• To Co Ordinate with the production team and the production status
• Receive Tender documents (Drawings + Specification + Bill of Quantities) pertaining to Electrical Section of the works from Senior Estimation Engineer.
• Review the documents and ensure that all data required for pricing are available in the documents.
• Prepare tender queries for missing information/drawing or any contradiction between the documents.
• Send inquiries to the specified/non-specified suppliers for materials & equipment.
• Receive quotation from various suppliers.
• Evaluate the supplier quotations against the tender requirements such as capacity, quantity, specifications, deviations etc. Make comparative analysis of all the quantity & use the optimum solution.
• Arrange to get the quantity take-off from the drawings
• Prepare a costing for the works, highlighting the major equipment / material.
• Discuss the costing with the Senior Estimation Engineer.
• Prepare the BOQ for final submission to the Client.
• Keep a close watch on the proceedings through supplier relationship.
RESPONSIBILITIES / WORKS HANDLED:
• Study and analyze the design drawings, specifications and necessary tender documents for the assigned tender and raise technical queries to consultants / main contractor in case of any discrepancies.
• Attending meetings with consultants / main contractor and understanding the requirements.
• Reviewed proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Preparation of lump sum / unit price BOQ for the Electrical systems as per the client’s requirement.
• Preparation of technical documentation like Bill of quantities, List of vendors, deviations related to the tender and other technical documentation necessary for submission along with the tender.
• Discuss the costing with the Managers and make necessary updates.
• Coordinated with Project Management to determine labor strategies.
• Quantity take off from the drawings, floating enquiries, collecting quotations, techno- commercial evaluations of quotations and negotiating with vendors
• Reviewed quotes for completeness with plans & specs.
• Recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and availability of materials. Monitored and streamlined scope inclusions, exclusions, & clarifications for estimates.
• Send enquiries to the specified/non-specified suppliers for materials & equipment.
• To follow up the supplier and to response their Queries to obtain quotation in the proper time.
• Obtaining quotation / proposals and reviewing the same to produce the cost effective Offer.
• Co-Ordination with other disciplines and gives the necessary guidance’s to the Draftsmen and Quantity Estimators working under Estimation dept.
• Preparation of value engineering points including the cost and submit along with the bid.
• Ensured maintenance of files and documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists.
• To follow up the supplier and to response their Queries to obtain quotation in the proper time.
• Maintaining updated database for rate of Electrical items along with the backup quotations.
• Maintaining updated database for contact details of vendors of Electrical items.
RESPONSIBILITIES / WORKS HANDLED:
• 1600KVA Transformer and its ON Load Tap Changerinstallation & Maintenance.
• HV/LV underground cable laying, termination work,
• MV/LV panel Erection and Maintenance work.
• UPS Erection Work.
• To ensure project execution work is as per approved drawings, approved methodology ensuring Quality standards and safety requirements
• Inspect materials delivered at site as per specifications
• Taking Measurement at site for bill preparation
• Supervise Sub- Contract workmen at Site
• Maintain weekly site progress reports
