Handled the social media platforms of 6 clients simultaneously; the platforms were inclusive but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter; the client base ranged from pharmaceutical companies to restaurants and fashion with social media budgets from AED 1000 - 56, 000.
Successfully handled teaser campaigns as well as launch campaigns for restaurants and fashion product lines; co-ordinated extensively with the digital and design teams to push out messaging that would appeal to a majority of the audience.
Established a system for content creation, which involved increasing engagement rates, follower growth (125 followers a day), adhering to set KPIs and setting creative briefs for the design team which had to be aligned to the branding and target audience of the client.
Co-ordinated successful campaigns for the Dubai Sports City community that involved pushing footfall and increasing registrations to the event though digital platforms.
Increased traffic to website and stores with targeted ads across Google, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn within 2 months by 4% (bespoke fashion related client) and 6% within 3.5 months (F&B related client); analyzed social media performances across all platforms at the end of the month with month-end reports.
Conducted live coverage for major campaigns as well as generated UGC to leverage the campaign to the maximum and was able to increase footfall to the event and overall awareness of the brand.
Handled community management across all platforms with a 2 hour response period.
My main responsibilities as an airport services agent included:
- Problem solving; coming up with solutions that suit the customer while still staying true to my organization’s policies.
- Providing a welcoming atmosphere and accurate information at all times.
- Assist passengers during flight irregularities; this was quite an eye opener on the levels of tolerance required for customer service as well as problem solving.

o The write ups I worked on for Gayathi went miles in helping me achieve a personal unique style of technical business writing.
- Created content for the various social media portals of clients ranging from nurseries to hospitals to restaurants around Dubai.
- Handled the social media platforms of several clients at once and acted as a useful link between the company and the client as a content writer as well as a client service agent.
- Created, edited and provided appealing content with respect to the client, the market and the target audience.
- Gave me a chance to perfect my rigorous fact checking with respect to all the content created.

While providing articles for The Leopard I got the chance to:
o Cover weekly and daily events that were happening around college thereby familiarizing myself with the report writing style that’s unique to daily newspapers.
o Gain hands on experience of working with an actual Editorial team and understand the importance of fact checking and brain storming for creative ideas.
o Cover important events such as the Model United Nations Conferences, Global Days and annual sports events and create engaging content for the same.
Dfuse.in is an online magazine that caters to the needs and sensibilities of people from the just-out-of college niche. With Dfuse.in I was able to provide content for the in.campus beat, a segment featuring the new high school student’s experience in the big melting pot of college.
