First primary objective is to achieve monthly sales value target, volume target, outlets coverage target; also other Business development objectives such as identifying new outlets within the territory and adding them in our data base to increase the business and brand shelf share among the clusters.
Maintaining very good business relationship with shop owners, buyers to deal with them directly to capture maximum business potential.
Understanding the outlet potential and customer behavior also analyzing their purchase and sellout trend to estimate their daily capability to ensure maximum share is captured.
Effectively convincing the customers, explaining the product portfolio, day to day offers, promotional benefits, back end supports to make them aware of all benefits to capture maximum potential from their outlet and brand share.
Presenting our brand, product portfolio in an executive manner, explaining all value added services provided; also explaining our day to day special offers along with benefits to capture maximum share of their sales for those segment.
Ensuring right level of our product visibility, brand visibility is maintained within the outlet.
Ensuring all model range is convinced to retailers and placed to them.
Making invoices as per the order plan, picking up right stocks from the vans, delivering goods to the customers and taking acknowledgement.
Effectively collecting payment from dealers and ensuring timely reconciliation with finance to assure customer accounts are up to date for right utilization of credit facility.
Monitoring competitor’s activities and movements, reporting it to upper management on time.
Swift response to customer queries, problems, and their complaints, taking necessary steps to avoid recurring the same.
Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
Gathering market and customer information.
Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
