February 2013 till February 2015: Senior Processor in Foreign Trade Centre - Mashreq Bank, Dubai
Duties Involved - Import Department:
Ø Opening and preparation of MT-700 & MT-767 (Foreign & Local) strictly adhering to the regulatory requirements and the prevailing UCP-600 norms.
Ø Payment of Contract & Local L/C documents
Ø Maintaining & balancing the Statements of Usance, Sight & Acceptances on Month end.
Ø Handling of complete correspondence related to Import Department
Ø Maintenance of import business records (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Six Monthly, Yearly)
Ø Posting of Daily Activity vouchers & preparing approvals from regional and local credit committees for LC opening.


Guarantee Department:
Ø Handling and Payment of all types of claims received against Letter of Guarantees & strictly follow up with RM’s as well as client till payment or waiver.
Ø Issuance & Checking Letter of Guarantees MT-760 & Amendments MT-767 as per URDG-758 & UAE Law (as applicable)
Ø Recovery of commission of auto-renewal/open-ended Guarantees on daily basis & claim charges from correspondent bank (if required)
Follow-up with correspondent bank by swift for recovery of Counter Guarantees commission, extend or pay cases & claims & other dispute
Correspondence with customer and Correspondent bank regarding Payment of Guarantee’s claims

Excellent knowledge of Swift systems & command over preparation of all MT’s on SWIFT Alliance.
