I joined RMGS in July 2014 as an offshore QA Analyst responsible for performing quality checks & maintaining a high quality standard of Tenrox, a Product by Upland Software.
Tenrox is a cloud based service delivery, resource management, tracking and billing software that is designed and developed to meet the challenge of organizations managing globally dispersed services and project workforces. Features of the product include automating project initiation, resource management, time and expenses, and reporting and analytics to improve the management of billable project resources from pipeline to closure.
My daily tasks include:
• Handle customer bugs (C-Bugs), verifying whether they are bugs or misuse.
• Assign bugs to developers & follow up with the team to identify the root causes of the bugs
• Deploying fixes (hotfix, packages or Scripts) on test environment.
• Performing quality checks, create test cases to cover the issue and the regression (from UI level and Database level through SQL queries), then re-tests, end-to-end to resolve the issue.
• Code review meetings to identify regression/quality checks before applying fixes on Production environment.
• After resolving multiple bugs/issues I perform release checks to verify that the bugs are not reproducible in the system for any of our clients in the new releases.
• Create test plan for the new releases whether it’s a service pack release or a new build.
• Communicating with the global and local teams

As a Quality Control Engineer I’m responsible for certifying the quality of the software projects developed at Link Development. My daily tasks includes (and not limited to): Fully covering, end-to-end, system integration testing for processes, workflows and complex business logic. Usability testing and enhancing the customer’s experience. Representing/taking the role of the customer and consulting the development team to improve the quality threshold of their deliverables. Achievements/Projects: MOEW (Ministry Of Environment and Water in Dubai) - Microsoft SharePoint 2010 + K2 Workflows: This is a huge enterprise large scale project that includes an internet web portal, mobile apps, and 80+ online e-services. The purpose of the portal and e-services are to help Dubai citizens apply for the ministry’s services online, and through mobile, and with proper administration the ministry employees can respond to the citizen’s inquires/requests. The Ministry of Environment and Water in Dubai was one of the first governmental entities to achieve the vision of exposing all Ministry citizen services on mobile and this was demonstrated successfully in Gitex 2013. Automation Testing initiative: Using Visual Studio Team Suite 2010 and Watin we started an initiative to automate MOEW e-services testing.
