Technical assistance and support for preventive, breakdown and predictive maintenance of rotating equipment (pumps, fans, turbines and compressors), and stationary equipment in the area. Monitoring of equipment operation and troubleshooting. Technical analyze of the existing problems and advice for solving them. Equipment Maintenance Procedures implementation and review to extend its lifetime, and mean time between the failures. Direct cooperation with the equipment vendors and evaluation of an equipment supply offers. Spare parts for maintenance selection and identification. Field designing of necessary parts, and maintenance equipment. Preparing documents for repairing damaged spare parts. Supervision and maintaining of utility maintenance database.
Major projects and modernizations participation:
1. Complete BFW pump units 15Z type for Skawina Power Plant.
2. Complete BFW pump units 15Z type for Gdansk Thermal Power Plant.
3. Modernization of multistage water pumps W18P type for Koszalin Thermal Power Plant, supervision of manufacturing and start-up.
4. Documentation for BFW pump 15Z overhaul and modernization, then engineering of complete BFW pump unit for Turów Power Plant. Supervision of pump acceptance tests and commissioning. Direct cooperation with Power Plant Unit Designer - ABB Baden (Switzerland) concerning project, manufacturing and commissioning of the BFWP unit mentioned above.
Similar like in the last period (April 1998 - March 2011).
Designing, testing, supervision of operation and maintenance of centrifugal pumps for various liquids (water, feed water, condensate, sewage, petrochemical products, etc.). Selection and designing of pump units. Pump monitoring and troubleshooting on sites.
a) Position: Designer at Engineering Center in Baghdad (3 months).
Description of responsibilities: Preparing documentation for new petrochemical plant PC-2, including ethylene plant, refinery and utilities. Pump units’ data sheets, evaluation of offers, clarification of technical problems, etc.
b)Position: Field Engineer on PC-2 Project construction site (3 months).
Ethylene Plant Construction leaded by Bechtel.
Description of responsibilities: Supervision of temporary water and sewage system, receiving, storage and maintenance of new equipment, documentation control. Site Queries preparation.
