Overseeing the creation, development, and execution of a series of conferences on women's economic empowerment (Women in Leadership - WIL - Economic Forum series), and finance (Digital CFO Forum series) across the MENA region.
- Generated over $1M in revenue over the first year in the department;
- Overseeing the entire brand identity of the series, and its respective products;
- Driving revenue for the series, through both sponsorships (B-2-B) and delegate acquisition (B-2-C);
- Developed and launched a new brand identity for the series;
- Negotiating barter and partnership agreements (with the media, associations, and suppliers), with organizations and media including Catalyst, CNN, CNBC, The National and more;
- Designing and implementing automation workflows for the series (using Microsoft Dynamics and Eloqua);
- Creating the communication plan (online and offline) for the 5 conferences of the series;
- Managing a team of web and graphic designers working on all the creative needs of the department (website, brochure, agenda, on-site branding material etc.);
- Managing a research team of 4 people working on the database requirements for the series;
- Conceptualizing video (from script to support on editing) and print advertising for the series;
- Developing social media strategies (organic and paid) for each product of the series (SEO, Google Adwords, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram);
- Reporting and analyzing the performance of each product of the series;
- Building, driving and monitoring budgets for each products of the series;
- On-site management for all marketing related tasks (photos, videos, media relations, clients relations on marketing deliverables etc.);

- Conducting research on financial trends and on the overall regional feeling towards women's economic empowerment to identify new possible opportunities;
- Analyzing and creating reports based on the research made;
- Conceptualizing B-2-B conferences from A to Z, and presenting/proposing them to management;
- Hunting for speakers (up to 90 per conference);
- Creating and curating content relevant to each conference (agenda, PR, articles, website content, speeches);
- Working with the sales and marketing department to create a communication plan;
- Serve as the link between all departments (assisting on their tasks) and as the driver of the project;
- Negotiating barters and partnerships to drive sales and enhance the on-site experience of the conferences;
- Serving as the main point of contact for sponsors of the conferences including Pfizer, Roche Diagnostics, Saudi Aramco, Engie, Oracle, Sodexo and more (helping them with their communication plan, presenting them updates on the project, helping them position their brand with the conferences etc.);
- Assisting the PR team on media relation (seeking partnership opportunities, creating content to share with them etc.) with media including CNN, Vice, Khaleej Times, CNBC, HuffPost and more;
- On-site management and coordination.
Brand development
While at the INSEEC Business School, I had the opportunity to do half od a year at their UK branch in London. I was also president of the debate team for the 3 years I was there and part of the student council.
