IDH Design Manager: The Italian Design Hub is an innovative Design center dedicated to architects and professionals in Bahrain & GCC.
IDH is representing Italian brands specialized in Interior Design Projects, focused on a specific segment: Surfaces.
Doors, Sintered tiles, Wood coverings, Carpet & Rugs, Mosaics and Lightings.
The “Made in Italy” companies are recognized as the best ones in the interior design market. But nowadays competition is high and you need to optimize budgets & quality of your projects if you want to have a return, not an easy task. We want to help you to meet your targets, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards, design and finishing, by adopting a Service Model as our core business concept.
We support you by selecting one company for each category, with whom we established a Partnership Model allowing us involve to the senior people in the organization (usually the owners themselves). This allows us to help you optimize your budget & quality thanks to a deep understanding of the products costs, quality characteristics and the decision making power to go beyond standard offers.
We have developed a new kind of physical and virtual workspace, The IDH Design Center, a sea front space of 650 sqm with a private yard deck where interior design professionals and clients co-design with us the best solutions for their needs using complete sets of available materials. Workshops, training sessions, augmented and Virtual reality make the IDH Design Hub a one-of-a-kind experience center.

Main activities and
responsibilities
- Successful project management, including planning, organization and realization,
of SACD’s booth at Downtown Design Fair 2017, Dubai.
For Private interiors design projects I was responsible for:
- Manage the design team, create work plans and Gantt charts to meet deadlines
- Lead and Monitor project progress to meat deadlines
- Work with Principal on the development of Interior Design Projects.
- Compiling a Standard Manual of Operation and Procedures for the interior design process, from the prospective client phase to the Procurement phase.
- Document project, from Concept Design to Final Design.
- Liaise with clients as well as outside consultants, suppliers, authorities and other entities as required during the development and delivery of work.
- Monitor proper implementation of design on site.
Project manager in the Plant and Construction division.
- Project management of successful ‘Clean Room’ project for AgustaWestland plant (FR, Italy). - Renovation and expansion of the New Factory of Tecnologie Avanzate: development of distribution layout, supervision of preliminary and final site design, up to transfer of production activities. - Management of tenders for Plants and Construction division: Specializing in the design, development and construction/renovation of mechanical and industrial plants. - Management and maintenance of properties and real estate investments. - Management of investments in the field of renewable energy (photovoltaic).
Successful project management, including planning, organization and realization, of: - Fida’s stand, ISE 2011 fair, Amsterdam. - Advertising systems at “Porto Arsenale La Maddalena” during the Louis Vuitton Trophy opening event, including onsite supervision. - Lottomatica PokerClub Stand as main sponsor of X Factor Tour event. - Refit Project for Trenitalia AV Brand (Main rail way national company) Concept Design for following projects: - Furniture design for a new library in Rome Tiburtina Station. - Renovation of Lottomatica Better agencies across Italy. - Survey and modernization activities for Centostazioni advertising network
- Architectonic supervision on the building of “Le Flamboyant” Hotel and Resort (Mauritius Island). Overseas work experience of 9 months. Main onsite responsibilities: - Support of site manager - participation in daily site-meetings. - Coordination between site manager and building contractors. - Supervision of piping and electrical plant design and ensuring coherence with project. - Quality control on materials, including: finishing methods, handcrafted furniture and industrial furniture installation. - Management of supplier relations. - Coordination of landscaping. Participation in the following projects: - Detailed design of “Le Flamboyant” Hotel and Resort - Detailed design of “Hotel Metropole”, Taormina (ME): renovation, requalification - Detailed design of “Calarossa Residence” (Sardinia). - Interior design for new accommodation. Participation in the following projects: - Preliminary design of “Sant’ Atanasio” church (Roma) - Removal of obstacles and renovation of a sport stadium for disabled use - Administrative dossier management for “Banca Nazionale del Lavoro” real estate - Renovation of a bed and breakfast farmhouse - Consolidation project for Viceno (TR) town centre: paving & public park design - Private house renovations and interior design
