• Reports directly to the Sr. Project Manager.
• Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including technical documents, drawings and correspondence.
• Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly.
• Scanning in all relevant new documents.
• Presentation and filing of documents and drawings.
• Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
• Maintaining a tracking facility to enable documents to be updated easily.
• Assisting departments with queries on documentation requirements and submissions.
• Generate the various document control reports as required.
• Responsible for maintaining hard and soft copy information.
• Issuing and distributing controlled copies of information. Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
• Provide advice on procedures of issue and methods in accessing the system.
• Ensuring all documents are as up to date as possible within electronic filing systems.
• Typing of site documents and follow up of all site needs.
• Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.
