Plan the work and oversee the buying of necessary materials and equipment

3. Manage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring
subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control
4. Ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring
progress
5. Check design documents with architects, surveyors and engineers
6. Promote and maintain site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed

progress on the project, i.e. stakeholder management and write reports
8. Communicate with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and others

11. Solicit and evaluate quotations for facilities- and maintenance-related works
12. Manage and address facilities-related needs and incidents.
13. Review installations and equipment to minimize incidents and identify opportunities for improvement
14. Organize contracts and bids documentation for relevant projects, overseeing the contractual documentation
15. Co-ordinate all aspects of the works related to a construction project in line with requirements, budget, and
timeline
16. Communicate directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair projects.

PROJECT HANDLED :

Duties and Responsibilities;
1. Inspecting site condition prior to start of the construction activities, verifying the compatibility of the site with
the designed permanent works, checking for obstruction, providing photographs and document the condition of
existing property, making sure all existing structure, property, utilities and landscaping are properly in place and
secure.
2. Review shop-drawings prepared by draftsman for completeness and accuracy
3. Coordination between architectural - structural and electro-mechanical shop-drawings.
4. Ensuring preparation of architectural as built drawings related to the company scope of
works and review for completeness and accuracy.
5. Initiate and prepare shop-drawings submittal for approval.
6. Monitor and control approved shop-drawings ensuring stamped with Issued for Construction.
7. Maintain a register of shop-drawings identifying status of approval and ensuring that original
copies of drawings are maintained with Document Controller.
8. Ensure distribution of drawings to all relevant staff / sections via Document Controller under
internal document distribution system.
9. Ensure that shop-drawings are updated as per Consultants comments and re-issued for approval in a timely manner.
All drawings to have Approved status “A, B C & E”.
10. Planning for preparation of As-Built drawings, submission of INSPECTION REQUEST for approval.
11. Conducts Quality assurance and control and asses testing and commissioning of materials to meet client
requirements for contract close out.
1. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE SITE SUPERVISING - MANAGING, AND SUSTAINIG THE QUALITY OF WORK
AS A PROJECT ARCHITECT, I PROMOTE THE TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND AESTHETICALLY
AWARENESS IN THE PROJECT I HANDLE.
