Rolling Hills Country Club, Palos Verdes, California
• Directed all phases of construction for a 50, 000 sq./ft clubhouse, including high-end finishes, swimming pools, fitness center, spa, tennis court, restaurant/bar. Successfully reduced schedule by 4 months and reduced the cost by >$1M USD. Kept meticulous financial records and analyzed that data against the budget and managed project effectively to maximize profit and client satisfaction. Trained and promoted continued education for all onsite crew members, including health, safety and skill-set development.

• Directed planning, budgeting, vendor contracts, and quality assurance efforts to transform an 8-story historic landmark into a boutique hotel for the Hilton Group.
Sharp Grossmont Hospital
• As part of a project turnaround, I spearheaded a tenant improvement project for nuclear medicine and ultrasound suites that was 12-months behind schedule and more than $500, 000 over budget. I assessed and renegotiated existing agreements, worked directly with subcontractors, client, and executives to meet milestones, and, at the close of project, achieved a high-level of client satisfaction.

Axiom
• $35M, 150K/sq./ft corn shell and tenant improvement. Conducted meetings with clients to clarify project requirements and budgets. Maintained project schedules by managing timelines and conducted value engineering to meet project goals and client expectations.
EcoATM
• $9M, 54K/sq./ft tenant improvement/office space including call center, training facilities, break rooms, shell, and exterior improvements. Reviewed plans and specs during the schematic design of pre-construction. Met key milestones at every phase. Conducted weekly production and operations meetings to resolve critical issues and adjust, when necessary, to satisfy the client as well as ensure positive financial results.
Biomed Realty
• $6M, 60K sq./ft., three-story tenant improvement involving interior demolition and rework, including research lab facilities and office space.
Irisys Inc
• $1M, 20K sq./ft. laboratory, clean room, manufacturing, and warehouse space.
Responsible for key projects in various countries in Africa, with management of up to eighteen direct reports, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen, Human Resources/Payroll, Financial Controller, and up to twelve hundred local laborers. Key responsibilities included executive oversight of all phases of construction projects; budgeting, cost management and value engineering; presentations and reports to facilitate project evaluation and uncover process improvements; recruiting, hiring and training employees; supervising the work of managers and team members, providing constructive feedback and holding team members accountable; defining clear targets and objectives and communicating those to key stakeholders; partnering with local government agencies to ensure compliance; coaching and mentoring staff to ensure a) on time completion of project, (b) safety and health standards were met, (c) quality control and assurance, and (d) skill development. Kendeja Luxury Resort and Villas
• $30M, Full service, 13-acre, 120 room villa-style luxury resort including restaurants, pools, spa and all utilities and infrastructure, built in Liberia, West Africa. Worked with leadership to create budget and tracked actual expenses against projected expenses. Determined the project schedule, which included the sequence of all construction activities. Managed up to 18 expats, responsible for managing specific workgroups, and >1000 local laborers. Oversaw employee attendance record, handled payroll, interviewed, hired, and trained. Assured that sites were compliant with health and safety and environmental (HSE), and federal, state and local regulations.
Juba Hotel
• $18M, helped to develop creative design concepts and pre-construction of 130 key, 5-story hotel in Juba, South Sudan.
Firestone Rubber Plantation
• $2M, Design, construction, and project management of low-income housing communities in Liberia, West Africa, including medical clinics, church, and schools.
Embassy of the German Republic
• $12M, renovation of the existing German embassy in Liberia, West Africa.
• Conducted meetings with clients to determine project intent, requirements, and budgets. Determined the project schedule and outlined all phases of construction. Reported directly to the Ambassador on schedule, milestones and performance.
Gabon Housing Development
• Design and development of 15, 000 single family homes in Gabon, West Africa, working directly with the Gabon President.
Interpreted clients' needs and introduced services that would meet their expectations. Construction and renovation of luxury housing in California and Colorado up to $11M, including finish tile, marble, and stone for 28 one, two and three-bedroom luxury residences at the 80/50 building in Mammoth Lakes, California as well as the construction of 6 custom luxury properties in Vail, Colorado, ranging from 14K/sq./ft. to 24K sq./ft.
