ROLES | RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling all Line pipe and special tubes business for Egypt, Libya, Syria, Lebanon and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE, Qatar and Kuwait, in charge of all sales growth; by performing technical solutions and pre sales activities.
- Conducting technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs.
- Reviewing the terms and conditions of various pipe-line tender invitations we receive and preparing the cost estimates and quotations for company products and services.
- Calculating client quotations and negotiating tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs.
- Offering after-sales support services and administering client accounts.
- Handling all enquiry lists to ensure required deadlines are met.
- The technical contact of the client to provide advice and technical guidance, and work closely with the sales department on the proposal.
- Support distributors/reps; by conducting training and technical updates for distribution channels
- Create strategic and technical sales strategies and presentations for prospective customers
- Propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials of services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.
- Travelling to visit current and potential clients in order to develop and grow long-term relationships with them.
- Analysis of customer needs from a technical standpoint
- Provide technical quotations and costing to be delivered to customers.
- Client support on technical issues related to pump maintenance, installation, commissioning and cause of equipment breakdown.

- Handling all Line pipe business for Egypt.
- To obtain or explore market information for business development and report information clearly and precisely to Department General Manager of Line pipe department and Sumitomo Corporation and its affiliates (SC).
- To conducting periodical customer (and supplier) visits, report all findings and conclusions.
- To identify opportunities, follow up projects to achieve project specific information, obtain tender and evaluate tender documents for clarity and completeness.
- To liaise with Manager of Line pipe department to obtain best offer conditions from SC for timely submission of an offer.
- To control enquiry list to ensure required deadlines are met.
- To prepare a credit application and obtain approval before bid submission.
- To identify areas where our bids can be improved before submittal. Submit compliant bids as per bid instructions. Follow up the offer to secure business, solving any problems or obstacles along the way.
- To follow up execution of the order, such as obtain approval from the customer on technical condition, and monitor the manufacturing schedule, submit necessary final documents along with deliver the goods.
- To monitor payments and follow up.
- To liaise with Manager of Line pipe Department and SC, organize/attend meetings with overseas who are coming to Middle East.
- To attend meeting to be held in oversea, such as pre-production meeting and Pre-Inspection meeting.
