Duties and Responsibilities:
Local Support for Mainframe and other Global applications (SAP, Mployee,
MLIS, MARS, GCSS, GSIS etc)
Administration, maintenance & Installation, support of Servers, PC’s,
Printers, Digital Senders, LAN & Wan Networks.
Telephone & Telecommunications Implementation & Support. (Manage
and configure phone systems using Avaya Interface Program.)
Software Licenses management, Application Support for locally developed
systems
Management of IT installations & changes.
IT Documentation and Management of IT Assets
Manage user accounts. (Active Directory)
Configuring and troubleshooting users Email account in MS Outlook, Lotus
Notes, Microsoft Office Communicator and LYNC.
Configuring and troubleshooting Outlook Exchange in Blackberry and
Nokia device.
Configuring and Troubleshooting Maersk-Line VPN.
Assisting users in daily Hardware and Software needs
Coordinating with Maersk-Line Global Helpdesk and Third-Party vendors to
resolve various problems.
Upload Contracts and process application in Etisalat. (SIM, ADSL, Leased
Line, ISDN Line, Internet Line etc.)
Educate the users and Make sure that Maersk-Line IT Security policy is
followed.
