Summary of Duties:
Reports to and assists the Project Safety Supervisor in the overall implementation of approved

Specific responsibilities include:

permanent preventive measures.
Carries out daily site surveys to ensure: only safe work methods are in operation, adequate fire and fall protection are in place, adequate welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained,
approved tools are being used and sufficient Personal Protective Equipment provided and properly worn.
Participates at Corporate / Project-developed Safety Training / Incentive and Awareness
Programs; attends safety meetings with the client / other contractors.
Advises the Project Management thru his Safety Supervisor, as a result of field safety monitoring,
on: 1. Ways to improve existing work methods to better accident / incident prevention;
2. Identified and foreseen safety hazards which may affect health and welfare of site
employees and their execution of work;
3. Areas of concern at site where stricter control is required for an effective loss
prevention & loss control.
