Responsible for finding qualified suppliers and approved materials for all projects in UAE. Ensures to get less price and good quality items without affecting the quality of works.
Monitors inventories in all site stores and Main Store. Study site cash flows and
coordinates with Finance Dept. for strategic budgeting.
Responsible for the mobilization of new projects. Check for the suppliers with the lowest price and high quality of materials. Review all material requisition after placing the order. Ensures that material cost is below the budget. Negotiates with suppliers the orders and deliveries. Coordinate with various departments for better work progress on site. Performs other administrative functions.
Responsible for pricing and cost estimation, request for quotation from various suppliers and finalization of prices. Recommending resources - manpower, equipment and facilities.
Direct and control all project activities - administration, engineering,
Procurement and construction.
Prepare price comparison for various items from quotes received from the different suppliers. Check material requisition before issuance of purchase order. Ensure that materials ordered are approved by the consultant. Monitors the received and release of materials in store. Inform concerned engineers if materials ordered are less versus the requirements. Review deliveries and informed suppliers if any discrepancy was found.
