i. Account Payable & Receivable
• Opening and Closing of Purchase Ledger Accounts.

• Reconciliation of 200 suppliers accounts and discusses the discrepancies.

• Fortnightly payment of invoices for groups overseas companies.
ii. General Ledger
• Reconciliation of Balance sheet Items.
• Allocation of Ledger Accounts as assigned, Investigation and resolving of all outstanding Issues.
• Liaise with external auditors and provision of all the necessary schedules that aids audit process.
• Closing of Purchase ledger and Sale ledger for onward reconciliation.
iii. Stock Control Unit
• Organising and participating in quarterly stock taking for 50 depots nationwide.
• Reconciliation of stock ledgers of all depots and resolve the variances.
• Monitoring the receiving of stocks and creating the gangways in the warehouse.
• Ensure the proper documentation of all paper works.
After my tertiary education, I proceeded for the post tertiary education from the University of Calabar, Nigeria where I bagged Masters In Business Administration. I also had a certificate from the Institute of Chartered of Accountants Nigeria called ATS in 1998. Also know as Accounting Technician Scheme. I later proceeded for the Professional level of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
